"by the way those are not aliens those are robots there is a difference, by the way those are not aliens those are robots, there is a difference"
+awesomon Hey I'm sure you've said the same thing over on accident too
+Puppet Master Yeah, but this was recorded.
+Buge I bet it was an editing error. Like he left in an alternate take by accident.
I was gonna make my own comment about this, but I'll do it here just because. Yes, there is a difference between aliens and robots, however, "alien" refers to a being from somewhere else, though they're mostly refered to otherworldly beings, you could also call someone from Canada who vists America "an alien", even though they may be offended. So anyway, you could call them alien robots. However, in the sense the character was saying, merely calling them "alien" just means they aren't from Earth. So it was technically correct.
seanmyster6 Probably. It's kinda hard to edit audio as you have to listen back to it. Unless you're EXTREMELY skilled, you probably can't read the waves or be able to identify what is what. A lot of audio finalization is skimming to make sure the bitrate and everything is in order. It was probably overlooked.
"What kind of anthropomorphic dog doesn't talk?"
There's Snoopy.
+Crazy Horse 9000 Gromit
+VisualPlague No, he doesn't. He (Brain) is just as expressive as Snoopy.
The dog in jimmy neutron
+Fresh Dr Pepper It's name was Goddard. (:
+Crazy Horse 9000
Odie from Garfield
Pup Cake from the 2003 Strawberry Shortcake series...... yet the fucking cat, Custer got to talk >_< lol
"What was she looking for specifically? People in leather jackets in time machine saucers?"
Well, no sh*t. Who doesn't want to meet the 9th Doctor?
+Andrew LaChapelle Yes!
Andrew LaChapelle Funny. This show partly existed because Hanna Barbara couldn’t get the rights to Dr. Who. Maybe this takes place in the same universe and the robot leader mistook the Fonz for- Okay, I can’t even finish that joke. This is just too absurd.
😆
I don't.
To be fair, Happy Days is the show that coined the term "Jumping the Shark."
Jaceblue04
Quite literally too.
Underated comment
And strangely enough, this is even more absurd.
What should we call this? Spacing the Fonz?
Really no PSA about sex robots can beat explaining one simple aspect of having one: *Maintenance and Cleaning*
make them clean themself.
+Athavan Rajasingham I mean, you have to do that with regular sex toys, too. Just sex robots you can also cuddle, if you're into lewd shit like that.
+Athavan Rajasingham I prefere the futurama PSA myself.
+Robert Harris I imagine the self cleaning ones will be very expensive.
Oda Swifteye take it apart and put it in the dish washer?
"I wonder what the Earth will look like in 2057." I've played enough Fallout to know where this is going...
fallout is the 2200s though.
+Robert Harris 2277 so not even the 2250s.
+Shwah Gamers If we're going by Metro's timeline, there is no Earth left.
Robert Harris Oh, yeah never mind then. I momentarily blanked lol
+Robert Harris and if it was cod children would use they're parents money to pay for weapon paint
"because the Fonz can operate a fighter jet from the future in space" Well yeah, If you watch Happy Days it's pretty in character for him to be able to do anything just by wanting to.
Specifically Jumping the Shark.
Praise be to the Fonzie, for without him, the Earth would be nothing more than star dust floating beyond the space time continuum. Fonzie be with you...
Son of Tiamat (formerly known as tiakpark) EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Son of Tiamat (formerly known as tiakpark) eeeeehhhhhhhh
+Son of Tiamat (formerly known as tiakpark) *all Canadians look up* HMM EH?!
And also with you.
+xCanYouFeelTheLovex Let us eeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...............
That narrator is Wolfman jack, who also narrated the game DJ Boy of all things!
In a doctor who knock off with the Fonz as the Doctor... man this show is really weird
I've never heard of dj boy is it good or bad
DJ Boy? The crap Genesis game?
You have commented on almost every video I have watched the past 2 weeks.
Vinnce12
Well the arcade version of it yeah.
"This is going to be a 22 minute PSA on the dangers of sex robots isn't it?"
That has to be one of the funniest things I've ever heard you say.
2:33 - "What kind of anthropomorphic dog can't even talk?" Snoopy from the "Charlie Brown" specials? Gromit from "Wallace and Gromit?" Brain from "Inspector Gadget?"
I'll give you this. Gromit and Snoopy are good examples. But brain, didn't he kind of talk?
***** Technically, yes. But he didn't speak straight-up English, though. He mostly talked through barks and various noises and Penny translated what he was saying. I mean, when I think of a talking dog, I usually think of a dog that can actually speak fluent English (or any miscellaneous language) like the human characters can.
You could also say that there are non-anthro-promorphic dogs that talk.
***** That is also true.
+nerdsman567 Snoopy can inner monologue.
By the way, those are not aliens, those are robots, there is a difference.
By the way, those are not aliens, those are robots, there is a difference.
@@KnakuanaRka By the way, those are not aliens, those are robots, there is a difference.
By the way, those are not aliens, those are robots, there is a difference.
Alien robots
Except for the Transformers who are both 🤖
"What kind of anthropomorphic dog can't even talk?" Gromit, one of the greatest animated characters of all time. He's loaded with personality and he never says a single word.
"i like to keep my women and my machines separated" ... holy mother of god that might me the most strange quote i have ever heard in an animated show...
The biggest problem with this cartoon was that Fonz didn't just hit the time machine to fix it.
Another biggest problem was no Potsie.
If Hana Barbara did make an animated Doctor Who series, would that have meant that Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Class exist in the same universe as Scooby Doo, Josie and the Pussycats, and all the other Hana Barbara shows?
...Yeah, though probably ending up like Jeanie and being a legal headache.
Besides the BBC wouldn't let its time-traveling Gallifreyan be upstaged by some scene-stealing mutt
Happy Days invented the phrase "Jumped the shark". Well, this show has jumped the shark and has gone into space.
Hell, I'd say it jumped the shark so hard that it went high into space.
"Eyyyy, would the fonz let the earth down? I got plans, I GOT PLANS!" Best line in the episode XD
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Only explanation I could think of why she has magic
*Magic could still be a real thing even in her time. Many properties had magic in the future. "Thundarr the Barbarian" springs immediately to mind.*
Is no one going to point out that this show exists BECAUSE HANNA BARBERA COULDN'T GET THE RIGHTS TO DOCTOR WHO? WHY DO YOU THINK THE TIME MACHINE LOOKS LIKE IT DOES?
I've been to the Moon for 1000 years.
I can confirm that these facts about the Moon are actually true.
+Princess Luna Wait! I thought Korosensei blew most of the moon up.
+Toonamp but didn't eggman blow up half of the moon with the ark?
+101supertails Wasn't the whole Moon blown up by a space gate explosion in 2021?
+The KaBlammer Guys you got it all wrong, Piccolo was the one who blew up the moon.
+TheOmegaFan Let's admit it.
Everyone blew up the moon at the exact same time.
And then Eggman rebuilt it(with some help, obviously).
Fuck Sonic, and fuck villains that keep blowing up the poor moon.
4:22 It's the original Yellow Diamond face!
4:24 I found Yellow Diamond in her early years
Wow, even then she looked like a clod.
BBBBMPH
"The future girl knows magic."
Nanomachines.
This came out in 1980, not 1982. I actually remember being disappointed that it didn't include the entire Happy Days gang, as I wanted to see Joanie, Al, Potsie and Mr. and Mrs. C in cartoon forms as well.
I was 12 when it came out. Watched it Saturday mornings on ABC, I remembered a few episodes. However, looking at it now, it's like they were single-handedly trying to dumb down an entire generation of kids.
It worked.
The Doctor Who thing is a myth. In fact, the show's main writer said that he didn't think Hanna and Barbera even knew what Doctor Who was.
riiiiiiiiiiiight, some of the elements of Fonz and the happy days gang series had doctor who writen all over it. myth my ass.
HB also used to deny that the Flinstones was ripping off the Honeymooners
@@SpamEggSausage Jackie Gleason wanted to sue H-B but didn't want to be known to his kids' generation for "killing" The Flintstones
@@iwasanangryyoungman too bad
"What kind of anthropomorphic dog can't even talk?"
The kind that flies a red doghouse.
Blue, from Blue's Clues is anthropomorphic, and she doesn't talk.
This......... is beautiful T-T
XD I couldn't agree more.
o you
+Tha Swami Isn't it though? Honestly I've seen more sensible stories told by seven year olds, ever hear of Ax Cop? Fun webcomic. Written by someone in the aforementioned age category.
+Kenik Kress Some things are so bad they are like a blessing from jesus himself.
Tha Swami XD that was funny! But Kenik Kress has a point.
Wow...this show quickly "jumped the shark" the moment it began.
I have a joke!
If the Fonz joined MIB, what agent would he be?
Agent Aaayyyy
That last bit made too much sense to me, since in the beginning I thought "That time machine console.... Looks vaguely like the Tardis' console."
Even in the future sorcerers exist.
Speaking of which, she's a pretty weak ass sorceress since all she really can do are minor cantrips like, as we see in the show, pretty much just prestidigitation.
Woah, there are sorcery nerds? The internet truly is an amazing place.
+crazyinsane500 Blame the Midichlorians
+Athavan Rajasingham That was the lamest explanation of where the force came from. In my opinion Dragon Ball Z. Best use of the force with out the use of bacteria.
Warhammer 40k and Shadowrun come to mind.
Holy shit, I can't understand a single word you're saying.
4:32 To be fair At least Marvin the Martian had an excuse to blow up Earth since he stated it blocks his view of Venus so it's progress
While I don't really like Hanna Barbera and all of its cheesy bullshit, I have to say I love the art style.
@SNAPLocket Meanwhile, everybody is bitching & complaining about the CalArts style in todays cartoons.
Art style and character design were things that Hanna-Barbera always seemed to nail, even in their bad cartoons.
This show nowadays be like giving John Cena and other WWE wrestlers a show where they go and tag team with Robin Hood and his merry men against Doctor Doom and his army of zombies in the year 3000 for the Crystal Skull.
+drsonicfan Can I send you a team of writers and a contract please?
KatakiDoragon Please do. First episode is on the Death Star.
+drsonicfan I'd honestly watch that.
+drsonicfan
Yeah except that would just be a transparent attempt to once again try to shove John Cena into fame even though the man has zero acting skills and really isn't that appealing as a wrestler in comparison to other legends like Andre the Giant or Rowdy Roddy Piper. I'd even settle for Dave Bautista. At least we know Bautista can hold a scene well enough on his own.
+drsonicfan it would be like if they made a movie of Jhon Cena teaming up with scooby-doo
hehehe..... ;-;
This show didn't come out in 1982, it came out in 1980 and ended in 1982.
You just took the words right out of my mouth.
I'm sure someone said it elsewhere but the idea that the show was supposed to be Dr. Who is a bit of an Urban Legend. The show's writer/producer (Duane Poole) was asked about it during a CBR interview and said during the show's run none of his small team had even heard of the Doctor. While Dr. Who did get it's first US premiere in 1972 (earlier in '65 in Canada) it was screened on PBS and was largely pushed to off-hours blocks. The BBC was pushing very hard for a CBC and PBS mass distribution so it's unlikely if the offer was on the table Hanna-We-will-literally-make-a-show-of-anything-and-sometimes-nothing-Barbera would have had any qualms turning Jon Pertwee into a crime solving musician or something.
Mr Enter, I don't know if this will reach you. But a CZcamsr called IHE ( I Hate Everything) needs help with some copyright bullshit and I can't think of anyone to help him better than you. Please give him some advice, if you have the time.
I LOVE I HATE EVERYTHING
Mr enter you have to save him!
I think I know who's behind all that: KITE MAN
if anyone has that video saved, I will love them forever
ayyyyyyy ihe
why was a sauropod trying to eat them? 0:57
I noticed that too.
+El todo poderoso Arceus it wanted the powers of the Fonz.
+El todo poderoso Arceus Maybe it's the sauropod from the original King Kong.
because cows make delicious
+El todo poderoso Arceus Because it's a dinosaur and in the age of bad cartoons all dinosaurs wanted to eat you.
This was show was like made in 1981 or 1982, but it look so much like a cartoon from the 1970s.
It actually came out in 1980 and then ended in 1982.
whew, thanks gallifrey Hanna Barbera couldn't get the rights of Doctor Who, the brittish are really good at guessing how things can go horribly wrong.
Unless the EU is involved.
Padaster
Remember when they refused to change their currency from Euro to Pound? They didn't regret that and never will. So lets wait for things to take long-lasting effect and once again they will be the right ones.
Yeah, remember what Hanna Barbera did to poor Godzilla in 1978?
also at the time, Tom Baker have left the show. the 4th have regenerated into the 5th doctor back then.
What makes this funny is that in the original happy days it's implied that Fonzie boned every female. So if they stuck with that it wouldn't be a stretch to say it is a PSA about sex robots.
This show didn't come from 1982, it actually aired from 1980-1981.
technically they would know about friendly aliens, because of their run in with Mork from Ork ( played by the late Robin Williams) though I don't know if this follows the Happy Days cannon.
Mork wasn't friendly in Happy Days, only in his own show
I see you put in "It's such a beautiful day" clips at the start, even if you cant review it, I still recommend you watch it just by itself. It blends minimalism style animations with real life photography and has a beautiful story. Definitely recommend it to everyone.
Honestly of all the animation that came out in the 70's you could probably count on your hands all the things that were just "good". With the only truly great show I can think of being Ashita no Joe
Like for a spongebob squarepants movie review
Forgot the period.
+Cameron Huff Because he said on his deviantart page that he actually liked it.
+FlamePig He doesn't really take requests anymore if this counts.
+Cameron Huff You're welcome. And hopefully that will be soon but I understand if he needs to take time with it because he does work a lot harder to make Admirable Animations. And I saw that movie twice. I really, really liked it. Loved it even. Especially because they even got a few of the old writers back for it which makes it even better.
+Blues Light Lol the second one.
I think that's Wolfman Jack doing the show's opening theme...he was a radio host who sounded like he had a spider infestation in his throat. The Guess Who, a Canadian band, made a song starring him called "Clap For The Wolfman" that used to creep me out a lot as a child.
I like that song!
+HakkiriMotto Wasn't Wolfman Jack in Battlestar Galactica?
By the way, those are not aliens. Those are robots. There is a difference.

Seriously this show is so bad it's funny xD
+AnimatronicPony
I know, right? Here is a show that just completely lost its marbles and just decided to roll with the madness.
Dr. Dhoom
You mean the late 2000s. The mid-2000s was the time of Justice League, Ninja Turtles, Teen Titans and Megas XLR.
+Ikrani And also Danny Phantom!
But who is the Fonz?
He's the character who originally jumped the shark from Happy Days. It's abbreviated from his name Fonzerelli (sic?).
Or is this just some sort of meme?
Maybe the Earth obstructs her view of Venus.
Hey guys..
Nice day for a lube job, huh..
ooOooOOOoOOOooOoo..
"In the words of the Heavy, it just makes you wonder 'How did this happen!?'"
Actually the line is, "how _could_ this happen?"
I thought one of the running jokes of Happy Days is that the Fonz could fix anything and drive anything?
I guess there are somethings even the fonz can't fix, this show being one of them.
Did a herbivore try to eat them?
Ikr i thought that was weird when i first saw it
1un4cy Herbivores can eat some animals like bugs and eggs
It's hard to believe what an animated adaptation of Doctor Who would look like if Hanna-Barbera manage to get the rights to it.
I think the animated Doctor Who may look like the Star Trek animated series.
"Galloping Galaxies, what's that!?!"
Um... galaxies don't gallop.
Just when I thought this show couldn't get any weirder, WOLFMAN JACK NARRATES THE OPENING!!
So when would you say this cartoon jumped the shark? I would say it's very inception is when it jumped the shark.
+adavi1231 The funny thing is that the original show created that term.
+EricStelzman I think that might have been what he meant
+EricStelzman ........yeah that's the joke.
Wow, Space Dandy looks different from what I remember...
4:23 - She looks like Yellow Diamond from Steven Universe
You mean Yellow Diamond looks like HER.
Yeah, the Doctor Who thing is an urban myth I'm afraid. The actual nearest we got to an animated Doctor Who prior to the 21st century revival was a pitch and concept art by Nelvana in the early 90s.
4:30 Obviously, it obstructs her view of Venus.
2:43 My guess is that Electra 6000 and her robot minions were originally suppose to be either the Cybermen or the Daleks, since The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang originally suppose to be a Doctor Who cartoon as Hanna-Barbera originally intended.
70's sitcom stars and time travel! They totally go hand-in-hand! You're right, Mr Enter! Seeing bizarre stuff like this does give us a bit of a tickle!
"What kind of anthropomorphic dog, can't even talk?"
Snoopy: ............
To think, Ron Howard actually looked at this and thought it was a good idea (Henry Winkler I can understand because he really hasn’t done much since happy days)
But Henry Winkler does have a lot of voice acting roles. June 19, 2018, 2:30pm
What’s interesting about this is that Richie Cunningham is still here even though Ron Howard had left the actual show by this point.
Attmay i guess they figure it wouldn’t be a happy days show without him?
Wait, did you not like "its such a beautiful day"? I saw it in the compilation of bad animation at the start...
I love that at 8:09 the dog is just standing still on a moving conveyor belt. I did some research, apparently friction wasn't edgy enough of a topic, so the creators decided to completely forget about it.
This stuff is my favorite of what you do. The laid back review and just reacting to what is on screen. I like your other stuff too, this is just more my speed than the epic reviews of shit thrown at paper.
At least they got one prediction of the future right: parents giving their kids cre8ive names.
In 2057 the earth will be a huge ocean
The dialogue sounds more like a bad family guy cutaway gag then an actual show
Were you even alive when this was new?
Ahh... the music at the end is so soothing, one the most relaxing songs to come out of a video game.
Besides the outfit I loved Cupcake's deaign
she has clown hair
Fun fact: there is an actual Doctor Who cartoon. It stars Tenant's doctor and is very poorly animated. You should review it sometime.
+Zach Wright
There were two, but they were specials, each the equivalent of an episode, not full series.
There's a few of those, the first, Scream of the Shalka, is actually pretty well written
+Zach Wright
Is it as poorly animated as Hammerman?
Man, it is good to see you back. Love you, Mr. Enter!
I don't think I've said this before, but you have really good taste in the music you choose for your outros. You've picked some really great songs recently.
As embarrassing as it is to say it, this show was my introduction to Happy Days as a kid to the point I was surprised neither Mr. Cool or Cupcake (future girl) were in the show until I wised up
This show jumped the shark.
"Besides, if these aliens are smart enough to build a ship like, they're smart enough to be friendly."
What? I legitimately cannot see the correlation.
This show probably had one of those "It's so bad it's good" charms to it, the audience is too busy trying to figure out what the hell is going on, and laughing their ass off at whatever idea they can come up with for however the hell this show came into existence.
You should review Laverne and Shirley Join the Army. Their drill sargent is a talking pig...Yep. That's a real show. Look it up.
There's only one good show that came out during the early 80s: The Smurfs.
DuckTales?
@Carry the Lucumber Yeah, should've read the comment more thoroughly.
Yes! an update! and it won't scare me! I love takeing your advice when criticizing others work. The way you explain is either amazing, or just good enough for me to think about it.
"I wonder what earth looks like in 2057"
"it looks exactly the same but with everyone looking at a little screen in their hands"
“What kind of anthropomorphic dog doesn’t talk?” Porkchop from Doug anyone?
Also, is it just me, or did anyone get the feeling that the robot dog was one step away from groping Mr. Cool’s crotch?
Well I mean, obviously the reason to blow up Earth is to make a hyperspace intergalactic freeway. Ruling over it is literally being a toll booth.
A few months back at Comic Con, I met Henry Winkler, the actor who played Fonzie. I should have asked him about this
"And they like, went through time!" Just, that, that is the greatest theme song
Hmm...I can actually see the Doctor Who influences here. The control room of the Time Machine looks like the Classic series console room on drugs.
Though an animated Doctor Who in this century with David Tennant doing the voice would be pretty bitchin'
I heard of this via Wikipedia. It's based on the Garry Marshall live-action sitcom "Happy Days" starring future film director Ron Howard. I can't believe they made this atrocious show due to the popularity of Arthur Fonzarelli (played by Henry Winkler) in "Happy Days".
I never realized the Fonz jumped the shark into orbit before...
I'm still hoping for some sort of review of BoJack Horseman. I know your a busy guy, but I just want my suggestion out there.
Love it
I'm with you if you mean an Admirable Animation.
Bojack is great
+Generic Gamer It has sex in it at all, so Enter's going to automatically assume it's bad on that fact alone.
+cartoonswim he doesn't think Rick and Morty is bad, and there's a lot of sex in that show.
