    Lovely heat haze from the pipes and hardly any clagg , electronics doing the fuelling these days .

      Yes, it's not so gutsy as the old-fashioned engines, though!

    Very powerful engines these, can pull more than any class 66, in fact one of these can replace 2 66's just bought a class 70006 in freightliner livery in N gauge, its a superb model of this modern beast

      You mean steepness? Gradient? Shap is mostly 1 in 75 but there are bits of level around Grayrigg.
