Love how you shared your traditions with us honestly. I would love to see your traditions for the other big holidays we have. I myself am starting a tradition where I make ornaments for a yule tree. Each year i want to incorporate a God or Goddess or a depiction of one of our stories into an ornament for the tree. That way when someone asks what they mean I can say "Oh it is Ull's Ornament" or "Oh that is the story of how Odin got his horse Sleipnir." This will be very helpful when I get a kindred started and we get someone not familiar with all the stories.
Ohh I got a bunch box of straw make small ornaments wrapped with red string, star 🌟 snowflakes ❄️ and Yüle BOC babies. I should share those! I’m glad you spoke of these sharing ornaments.
Very well done informative video! It’s very interesting to see the difference in traditions that people bring to Yule. Personally I keep it simple with a blöt, feast, we make our own statues of Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr out of straw, along with a couple other things. There are a few straw snowflake ornaments on the little trees behind me in the thumbnail. They all look so amazing.
