- Davis sits down with Scal to break down the Heat/Celtics series through Game 4, what has made the ECF so wild, and what to expect moving forward. The guys also discuss what makes the Warriors so special, how the league was different in the early 2000s era, and more.

So tired of my man being benched!! He’s such a massive part of their offense and it’s so clear. He creates so many great shots with his gravity, movement, and passing off of dho’s
Love Duncan but he cannot seem to hit a shot this playoffs. Idk if they HAVE to play him more so he can get his touch back but I’m hoping for a revival next season
@@SeamanSock are they really playing him enough to even say he's not shooting enough?
@@acrum2457 thats the tough part right now. the heat really need someone to create a shot like Herro does but there isn't anyone that creates enough space for Duncan off of screens like in previous seasons. and with the importance of this next game CAN you hope that he will ignite? If he does they have a great chance of winning but if they don't then he has been a defensive liability. i fully believe in his ability though!
Duncan I’m sorry but you sold in tonight game 5.
@@pizzaparty6494 lol what about jimmy, strus, kyle and Bam? they got fathered by celtics defense.
I love how Davis was able to bring that play up because I thought the exact same thing and as a player you gotta get your shooters hot at all time and Gabe keeps this entire team hot with his energy and play dudes a beast hope we keep him for a long time
Great episode Davis. Really holdin' it down. Always nice to pick Brians brain.
Gl your next game DBO🔥
Great episode! Love Scal!
Heat fan here. Agree with y'all. Half court offense 💩 Lucky to be at 2 wins. Hopefully a good game tonight 🤞
8:38 Scalabrine is right. And that just goes to show you what having a good coaching staff and a great culture do for a team. The Celtics have more talent on offense, crazy scrappers like Marcus Smart and Grant Williams, no weaknesses on defense, looked like the best team in the playoffs in the first two rounds, and it _still_ went 7 games and was a single transition 3 by Jimmy Butler away from being a likely Heat win.
Big props to the Heat, and especially to Jimmy Buckets and the Heat coaching staff. After watching the Celtics dismantle the Nets I thought Ime Udoka was a genius and the Celtics would win the title and I haven't really seen anything to change my opinion. The Warriors are great and fun and have a ton of experience, but I think the Celtics are the best team.
The Celtics would’ve lost to both the bucks and heat had either of them been healthy. They are not ready to have to play 5 out against the warriors because their defense relies on them to pack the paint
Can you interview both Windy and Woj of ESPN about their journey as NBA insiders
I know it’s gonna take time but we gotta talk
Dbo gonna drop 50 next game
You should have blocked out the number that called scal LOL
Scal must've needed a check I just seen him on another show
Scal just loves to talk.
Tyler and Duncan > Lowry and Vincent
Brian brings good analysis but I think he can't hide that cletics bias man 😂😂. Even very subtly he shows it. Def think Davis is more objective.
Scal is the color analyst for local Celtics broadcasts, his job is to be a homer.
Same media Boston bias, the Celtics lost two games and turn the ball over themselves. Not that the heat have the actual best Defense in the league not Boston, they way he talks you would think the heat are down 3-1 going to Boston🤣.
Nah Bostons defense has been better if u watch and dont just use advance stats. Though they def shouldnt be talking like they have no chance lol.
How in the eff do they put effin Strus ahead of you Dunc? A lot of good that did. Jesus go with who got you there. Benching you after all the help you did for the team. You started mostly, and 6th man at worst, and they sit you for effin Max Strus lol
What do you mean.... Max Strus is who got us here lmao
Duncan been on the been on the bench for 3/4 of the season.
You clearly don’t know jack about winning basketball nor do you appear to understand the major weaknesses in Duncan’s game. Thank you for the laugh though. Best foolish statement I’ve seen since the Heat lost.
I liked how Brian humbled Davis today
Play duncan!!!
Scalabrine is so bias. His analysis skill is as bad as a his basketball skills lol
So only in the top 300 in the world at any given time?
Bro, Scal is the local TV broadcast color analyst for the Celtics. It is literally his job to be a homer. He's not a journalist.
@@CM-ft9ep who said anything about journalism?
Duncan started a podcast then forgot how to shoot
More like he forgot to work on his defense
He forgot to work on both
He's had some glimpses of great shooting here and there. I think his confidence is taking a hit and should try to go to a better system
@@billr5842yeah, a system where he learns not to be a liability on defense
@@dacoldestinca7559 I think he can improve his defense with some work. I believe he is worth his contract. He's 6'8" with a 7'1" wingspan
It's funny that Duncan only puts the podcast second when he's BENCHED. When the regular season against the pistons comes, it's back to the POD. GET IN THE GYM!
He’s been playing. Herro went down. Do you watch the nba? 😂😂
He said he wasn't gonna do the podcast during the playoffs.
Yeah it’s only for the playoffs, didnt matter regardless of pt, also imagine thinking an NBA PLAYER is not in the gym daily 🤦🏽♂️
Why can't Duncan break it down? He's got the best view of anyone in the world! Riding the BENCH LMFAO
Man clicked the notif so fast just to hate lmao
He has been playing. What are you talking about? The game is on ESPN tonight at 8:30. You should actually start watching bro. Your comments are weird
He’s said the longest time that he doesn’t do the pod during the playoffs
