Nostalgic! Good old days. Best times, irreplaceable. When we didn't have any over-dramatisation, pure, clean, simplistic emotions and a breath of fresh air. This movie had elements that were ahead of its time.
I'll always love this fabulous film and play. The actor Matthew Modine's a kind, positively uplifting, inspirational, fun, and wittily funny winner. He's also very smart. Albert Finney was a great, kind, talented, smart, and winning actor too. Kevin Anderson's also a great actor.
I remember this movie with spanish language, here in my country...I never forget autobus pressure scene, after 25 years finally I find the movie. I didn't know title, actors name...just this unforgetable scene. Greetings from Ecuador.
Yeah I'm 34 minutes in and I don't know if I want to watch more because it's depressing and I don't like the way the character treats the younger brother ... controlling and psychologically abusive at times ... only reason I'm trying to stick with it is because Albert Finney is in it and he is a great actor but I don't know if I really want to continue as it just looks so damn depressing

Watched this many moons ago with my old r brother...you left me without giving me encouragement. ❤
this film aided in my healing especially the scene where the boy receives encouragement for the first time

Epic movie reminds me of my childhood. No CGI, just pure story. Was gonna watch 5 minutes then watched the whole thing. Onions at the end.
