You may already know that I love to study astrology- I taught a whole master class on the topic inside my master mind because I think astrology can give us great insights into our selves and help with self-reflection.
One of the topics I am constantly researching is how to use your natal or birth chart to help you create your brand and business!
Of course, this is totally unscientific and imprecise, but I believe that analyzing elements of your birth chart can help you understand your unique personal brand and help you craft a plan for your business that plays to your natural strengths and instincts.
So, since it’s my birthday - aka my Natal Return as it’s often called in astrology lingo- I think it’s a perfect time to teach more on this topic.
To get the most of out this class, you will want to come equip with a copy of your own natal chart.
If you don’t already have your chart, you can use this free website to create yours.

You will need to know your birthdate and time, plus the general location of your birth to get an exact chart.
If you don’t know your time of birth, I recommend checking your birth certificate, asking a parent, or asking older relative who may remember the day of your birth, and maybe ask more than one person if you can.
If you don’t have your birth time on a birth certificate or have anyone reliable to ask about the day of your birth, another method you can try to determine your birth time that I learned from an astrologer friend, is to think about your best time of day.
The time you have the most energy and feel most active.
I know I am most active during my birth time in the afternoon, and I’ve known night owls who were born at 11pm - so it’s another method you could try to get a more specific natal chart to use for this activity!
Finally, if you really can’t come up with your birth time (the hour at the least) then the chart builder I linked gives you an option for having no time, which I will explain how to adjust my method to use this information tomorrow if that’s what you’ve got. - Jak na to + styl

@@SheaDrysdale Wow, that sounds amazing! Can you see how that fits with your 8th house because I certainly can?! Which planets were in the 8th house, those can give you some extra areas of clarity as well that you can use in your messaging. Remember, you would use this information to help you get clear on how you help people through your business and that helps you frame your brand and work in a way that better attracts your ideal customer.

I apologize if I missed this in the training but do you have guidance in where to look in the chart regarding a company name - whether one should create a name for their business or to brand their name if they are specifically a coach? Thanks!!
I’m so glad to hear this training was helpful for you! I didn’t really touch on business names specifically in this training, but it is part of your brand, so 1st house would be a good place to look, and also your 10th house if you are pondering whether the name should be a brand name or your name. For example, my 10th house is in Aries, the first sign and that indicates to me that I am my business. Now, I didn’t know this when I got started, so I gave my business its own name, but people actually know me by my handle MissTrenchcoat- so, the astrology won out on that! Let me know your business and which houses/planets are in your 1st + 10th and I can help analyze further if you’d like!
@@MissTrenchcoat oh this makes a little more sense! And I think I understand why there’s a pull of considering both… I’m an entrepreneur in the coaching/healing/wellness space. My 1st house is Scorpio with Venus and Pluto. My 10th house is Leo with no planets.
@@brooklinb3204 Well for sure a Leo 10th house means you are meant to be the star of your career! Many coaches use their own name or they do that hybrid thing like “Health and Healing with Brooklin B” - if you are struggling to make the decision, I recommend clearly laying out each option, maybe writing each business name on a post it - and then one by one feel into “x is my business name” and see how your body feels. If you feel unsure, it is likely a no. What you are looking for is a feeling of peace or acceptance. Remember- your business name is important but I always laugh about how all over the place my branding is between my business name, my blog and shop which have two different names, my handle and my actual name- it’s like I’ve done everything wrong and it still works out so it’s clearly not that significant to your success lol!
