The speed at which this machinery can work with is awsome.
i remember in the 70's on my uncles farm and silage time was a single chop harvester attached to a David Brown 1200 with a 4 ton trailer. He was doing well if he cut 10acres a day. id say this guy could do rhat in an hour.

Great output from the 990. Like that you don't use background music. Raw engine sounds are much better.

@@northernmufclad424 it is but have to think about trailers as well. yards here in ireland are not the biggest. there are a few about that can take 22ft trailers but not many. 5 or 6 20ft can just about keep that forager going. if they went to 50ft swarths there be no way of keeping that forager going and the more time its idle, the less its making itself money. if he had 22ft tri axles going, they can keep up but again the majority of yards cant fit those trailers. on top of that the 2 loaders are going non stop and can barely pack down the silage and thats the most important job of them all. if he starts upping the swarth size and trailer size, it could be the best quality silage around but it be all wasted when its not packed in. and plus this is early grass. wait until 1st week of june and really see that forager going with the heavier stuff. and maize be the biggest test for it granted if he upped the maize header size as well
