The speed at which this machinery can work with is awsome.
i remember in the 70's on my uncles farm and silage time was a single chop harvester attached to a David Brown 1200 with a 4 ton trailer. He was doing well if he cut 10acres a day. id say this guy could do rhat in an hour.
Great output from the 990. Like that you don't use background music. Raw engine sounds are much better.
Thanks!
I like raw engine sounds much more as well.
@@Louis-B-53 yes me too I dont like music when these raw machines are about
@@Louis-B-53 ya got to love that raw engine sound and chopper eating up the grass yum yum
That 990 is a MACHINE! Great vid👍
Thanks!
Very good Brian!
Thanks Alan!
At last !!! "The Beast" on video!!!!! Christ lads and ladies I do think Mark Troy has the seatbelt on now in her !!!!! Awesome yolk and thanks for putting it up for us all to see Brian!!!! More lad more!!!
Thanks Maurice!
Very great out put from the class 990 and she sounds better like the sound from it
It's very impressive
Serious video Brian👌🏻
Thanks Ben!
It's grate to see you back in business Brian. These vids are a very sommelier style to your 2013 vids 🚜👍
Thanks Justin! Reeling in the years 😂
Great catch that 990 Brian! Good video too.
Thanks Hans! No shortage of speed!
Good quality silage there I'd say, cut good and early
Always one of the first!
Well done, that's some serious kit. Presumably they harvest a lot of maize don't think a grass crop will challenge the claas much!
Thanks lad, I think about 600 acres roughly
Very nice video
Thanks!
Perfect👍👍👌👌😁😊👏👏
Thanks
Mark troy is crazy, he just had a 980 and now be has a 990!😲
Big machines!
That's some machine.Don't mind the loader keeping up with the trailers looks hectic.
They use 2 1 for packing 1 for pushing up
That machine is an animal! Need a bigger rake, if possible 😬. Nice 👍
Thanks Terry, some machine!
Bigger rake would be a pain on the road, small gaps, small yards and the like. Smaller rows are probably handy for pushing the harvester on😂
Krone harvester way better than class. We had class for 20 years would never go back to class.
Ud want a defibrillator on the loader full time, Christ all mighty the speed!
They use 2 loaders one for pushing up and 1 for packing
@@mattybuttimer1143 true
I legit have a 36 minutes of aerial footage of the harvester and those same tractors from yesterday afternoon
They came here after they finished that farm
@@corkmachinevideos feck it, and I had it done with last night and lost the edited version
There is a 980 is Wexford that would smoke her putting out 1200 up an absolute monster to take stuff left a 9900i sitting last year like to see her vs the 980
No shortage of speed and power!
Tintern Farm who owns the 980 In Wexford?
White Agri videos Aidan Wickham Clonroche done 1200hp on the dyno she would have the 990 I’d say
Tintern Farm ohh right ya whickhams owns her
White Agri videos Ya Wickham owns her lad I’d like to see her against an 1180 Krone but nobody has one around
Did yu get a video of Joe's tod
No not today
How many acres a day with no hiccups whatsoever?
175 is the average I was told
It must be gone up bc he did a friend of mine in 7 hours 170 so I dunno
Fantastic video on this weapon of Irelands biggest harvester......??? I feel sorry for the man on the pit, the big M and the lad on rake trying to staying ahead of it......🤔😬
Thanks Jason, not the biggest but one of them! The biggest Claas harvester, they'd be under pressure!
They used 2 loaders and 2 rakes for a friend of mine and they picked 170 achers up in 7hours ducking mental
@@mattybuttimer1143 Jayus.....and can the Big M keep in front of them too or he has triples too?? God be must be some price per acre to pay for it all.....🤔
@@corkmachinevideos Troy's will have to get get a few Triple axle trailers to keep up the pace of harvestet.....💪🏼😁🤔
@@jascollinscork they used 2 mowers with no swatter to mow it I'm not sure if troys have a big m I don't think so or else they wouldn't have rakes
Is it mark troy from cork?
It sure is!
who is the claas 990 belong to nice machine
Its Mark Troys
Flying, got to have your wits about you when loading off her.
True!
Is that mark Troy
Yes
Seen more grass on the lawn after it was cut
30ft rows 🤦♂️
when they are pushing for 200 acres a day, they want speed. been told that they get more done with 30ft than 50ft
That’s bull. That 990 would pick up that light crop in 50s at same speed.
At first I thought that too but my thinking he been sticking with 30ft for years. He would've went 50ft years ago but hasn't so why is that?
@@c4lv1n26 having a harvester with that amount of power picking up light crops with wee rows is absolutely daft. Porters and townleys were using 50ft rakes 10 years ago using 970 jaguar's.
@@northernmufclad424 it is but have to think about trailers as well. yards here in ireland are not the biggest. there are a few about that can take 22ft trailers but not many. 5 or 6 20ft can just about keep that forager going. if they went to 50ft swarths there be no way of keeping that forager going and the more time its idle, the less its making itself money. if he had 22ft tri axles going, they can keep up but again the majority of yards cant fit those trailers. on top of that the 2 loaders are going non stop and can barely pack down the silage and thats the most important job of them all. if he starts upping the swarth size and trailer size, it could be the best quality silage around but it be all wasted when its not packed in. and plus this is early grass. wait until 1st week of june and really see that forager going with the heavier stuff. and maize be the biggest test for it granted if he upped the maize header size as well
