Hey Jacob just wanted to know something about your stetsom 8k how many fuses are u running from battery to amp and are they 2 400amp fuses or no. I would like to know cuz I just got a stetsom 8k and would like to know so I don't blow my amp
I have use 3 0 gauge ofc runs with 250 amp fuses at the front hookup terminal near alt area of each wire. No fuses in back to my single 45ah lithium. No fuses to the amp or anything on the back, only fused the front area personally. I suggest double up on everything and you'll be fine.
Very impressive how small it is for all the features and power, that would be great to hide under chairs and stuff
How you do you check your rms wattage if you don't have a clamp meter? I only have a multi meter. Are you able to check your rms wattage with a multi meter? Appreciate your videos man they have helped me with my system so keep them vids coming! Lol.

I thought about doing it but didn't want to focus the video at all on my system but the equipment itself. My guess this amp on my system would burp around a 159db

I have the ex3000 so if I turn FLAT on it makes the amp like full range? Or like setting a EQ to all flat settings
This switch allows you to turn the FLAT mode on or off. Settings
made on the CROSSOVER and BOOST controls will be turned off when
using this mode.

@@soundofbass6842 74 Midwest bass uses the Stetsom 8k and Jacob viral used to use 2 8k Stetsom but he downgraded to 1 Stetsom 8k. This is the first time I seen a bass 3k made by the Brazilian company Stetsom.

What's the difference between this amplifier and the stetsom digital bass version?
Just different name and ones rated 14.4v, other 12.6v. Also bravo offers more options.

Are these as power hungry as the taramps?
I wouldn't say power hungry, more focus on the electrical side vs. RMS Power output. I haven't seen any issues with the power output when supporting the power needed personally. No to your answer.

What are your thoughts on setting the gain with the speakers connected, vs not having them connected to the amp?
I always tested with them not connected to not damage the subs and had good results. Certain frequencies always clip faster depending on rise/system/electrical so it's always a never ending problem lol.
Hey there, if you were using a audioControl Epicenter with this amp, would you tune your gain without the Epicenter and then connect Epicenter or set the gains going through the Epicenter?
I would always tune everything with everything connected and follow the path of line for tuning to end.

How much amperage did you put on that 3K?
Showed it video what was clamped for output. I had a 410 amp alt and 45ah lithium when testing.
For 2 hom it's beasty 💫

You liking g Brazilian or full bridge over the korean amps or you liking g the more budget friendly. Are they more power hungry compared too the newer korean low voltage amps. Smaller korean board amps.
budget friendly and if you know what your doing and take care of it, no issues.
Going to be hard to get people to buy this, when you can get a smart3 for this price and get 3k plus @ 1 or 2 ohms

@@djkeys415s biggest difference I see... taramps has proven themselves last couple years. And the smart amps. A steady max rms power from .5 to 2 ohms... they sold tons of smart 3's. I bought one when they first came out. Then soon as they came out with the smart 5, I bought that. But the bass version this time. Stetsom is just blahhhh🙄🤣

Jabob! Come on man! Look at all those exposed wires on the power and ground! Naughty Naughty! :-) lol Also, the clamping method gets ya close. It gives you Volt/amps not watts. But the number is generally about 5%-10% higher than actual watts but it gets you close enough to be helpful.

Eh, digital is a great application, and has its place as a sub amp. As far as stetsom..just make sure you have a good inline fuse at a safe amperage. And maybe mount in a less than flammable spot, of possible.
