  • The Supreme Court strikes down the Chevron Deference that allowed government agencies to dictate policy, bypassing Congress. This may be the biggest decision since their relegation of abortion policy back to the states in striking down Roe v Wade. Meanwhile, markets end the 2nd quarter somewhat sloppily, but still positive for the year, possibly portending a positive finish for the year. This does not, however, exclude the possibility of correction this summer, and August, September, & October in an election year are typically weak. Lance retells his weekend rent house experience as an underscore endorsing renting over homeownership for most folks. Shocking. A look at the dichotomy of confidence: Expectations for market gains this year do now square with our feelings about the economy (and where do earnings come from?) The tale of the Roberts' celebrity dogs; why the NAR pushed for adjustable rate mortgages...and why they're a horrible idea for nearly everyone.

The p/e ratio for NVIDIA (NVDA) stock today is 72.25. It's decreased by -21.78% from its 12-month average of 92.37. NVDA's forward pe ratio is 50.51. Gold costs around 1,200 to mine, and spot is around 2,350, If gold traded at Nvidia's PE it would be trading over 160,000 dollars an ounce. :)

I don't know about that rant. Got in my house early with no money down and was very proud to own my own home. Renting wasn't for me. I maintained and upgraded my home. Paid it off early and still retired by 56 years old with no regrets. There are other options. Just because you don't have the down payment doesn't make it wrong to purchase as opposed to renting. Sorry, the way you presented your argument was in a tone that your way was the only way and all others were wrong. Just the way it came across to me. Really appreciate your channel and all the information you provide though.

I am not an electrician, but it seems like that house had way too much power running through the ground. There could be some other electrical problems besides just a broken ground wire.

Home ownership is overrated. I think it can be appropriate if you are someone who likes DIY and gardening or need the space, but I personally prefer apartment living even if I can afford a house. They can offer amenities and services that are subsidized by all the other residents... like gym equipment, tennis courts, pool, walking trail, pest control, etc which can be very convenient or less expensive than getting it done myself. (I only say this for us financially fluent folk who are investing the difference).

Ok Dave Ramsey - what would you do if housing prices were rising 25% per year. You can save till the cows come home but will never be able to buy if variable rate bias is a hard line. Calif 1970's - mortgages were leverage instruments

Mortgage info is incorrect. circa 1980's mortgages peaked and variable rates surfaced

Lance - they sell renter's insurance for a reason. I don't think you're getting compensated by the owner
