My uncle used to play this to me when I was little and it's one of my best memories of growing up..
That is such a cool memory to have :)
67 year old Ren and Stimpy fan and perpetual beginner guitarist here. Thank you so much for breaking this down, this is the most fun piece I've learned from the interwebs so far!
Thank you! It was great fun to do.
yeah I'd rather learn this more than stormy Monday or something tbh. I feel more of a generational connection to this
It’s the one tune I’ve played in a guitar shop when trying out a guitar and the shop owners thanked me for playing it. They said it’s nice to hear a tune that hasn’t been played a 1000 times already and they loved that animation :)
We're not hitchhiking anymore...we're riding!
Hahaha stop it....you’re talking crazy!
@@TroglodyteMusic Thanks for the video. I've never sat down to figure this one out, but I'll probably check it out tonight.
My wife and I are huge Ren & Stimpy fans. (I have an original cel signed by Billy West). So this lesson was a real FIND for me. In addition, imagine my surprise when I see an image of Tommy Cooper on your guitar! I'm an amateur guitarist, but I'm a professional magician.
My brother Jim Smith would be proud to see this!!
Excellent tutorial
Thank you - glad you found it useful Mark. Again, sorry about the tab thing - it improves over time ;)
Fantastic! Reverend Hortons finest! Great lesson,a big thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Super nice! Other channels had the final chord shape wrong...but you didn't!
Brilliant! Thank you, been looking for this for absolute ages
Thanks Scott! So glad you found it useful :) Happy Playing!
Dude ! Thank you so much. I grew up watching this show and have always wanted to learn how to play it.
I could never get the chords to sound right thou.
My dad heard this song play one day when I was watching cartoons and knew exactly who it was. He loved all kinds of music and gave me my first guitar when I was young.
Anyway, thank you. I havnt been able to find a lesson on this song for almost 20 years I think, and the one you made is perfect.
Im looking foward to learning more from your teaching style.
I cant wait to play this out one day at a show as just a quick little in between thing or before my band takes a break. It so much fun to hear and i know everyone will recognize it haha.
Thank you again. Im gonna subscribe and see what else you can teach me.
Stay safe out there.
✌ ✝ ❤
Thank you :) I’m really glad you like it :)
Dude, this is awesome .. I'm 51 and absolutely loved this show! Oh and btw, your studio looks phenomenal with all the wooden appointments. Exactly my style. r/Jazzguitar brought me here btw.
Thank you :) I just got the series on dvd - it’s still funny! That’s my living room..I actually do live in a cave - I really am a real life troglodyte! :D
@@TroglodyteMusic A hermit who lives deliberately in an old-fashioned manner is absolutely the most perfect way to live in this dystopian society!
Great lesson!!! 👏👏👏👍👍👍
Thank you :) having worked it out - this is one of my favourites to play now :) I’m glad you liked it
Thank you and well done
Thank you :) I loved this animation and always wanted to be able to play he theme, I'm just glad I eventually got round it it. I'm glad you enjoyed - sorry of the chord diagrams as the wrong way around! I hope you managed to get the right chord shape from the fret numbers.
Great videos....and backdrop! 😁
Thank you. The joys of living in a cave! I do seem to have set myself the challenge of...how many amps can I have in the cave :) I think the answer is ...more amps
Muuuuy bueno el tutorial......soy fans de Ren y Stimpy .......Muchas gracias ....
Saludos desde Santiago de Chile .......
Thank you!
Press "f" you this made you smile
Hahaha this is great!
:) thank you - glad you enjoyed it - happy playing
So damn good
Thank you :)
could You put the tab of the lick please?
Nicely done! Can you do a lesson on "Peaceful Days" from "One Punch Man"?
Ohhh that’s sounds fun...I’ll have a play with it :)
Maybe do the outro Ren and Stimpy song
Who did the original recording ?
Hi, I have had a look around and I found this online…
The opening and closing themes are performed by a group of Spümcø employees under the name "Die Screaming Leiderhôsens"
Thanks for reminding me of that vomit inducing shitshow. It's one of my favorites ever 😭 I miss the old MTV and nickelodeon
I think TAB r backwards?
It sure is! It was the first video I made with tab and I did it the wrong way round. Unfortunately there’s no way to change it without deleting it, editing a new video and uploading again. Sorry about the confusion- I did change it round for the rest of the videos. Happy playing :)
....who writes chords this way???????? i mean, seems spot on! but I have never seen chords written this way!
very disorienting and confusing
that was not hard, but you sure did make it hard for this adhd millenial.
Yeah - sorry about that! It was the first video I did with chords on the screen and didn’t realise I’d made them backwards! All the other videos are the right way round :)
@@TroglodyteMusic well I learned it all the same!! Lol. Also I thought I was just dumb for a while there...
@@TroglodyteMusic nice channel! Sorry I was cranky
