I just know Kelso is somewhere in the Bahamas, crying.
@@jakejason4333 On the 30th of April 2020 Samuel Llyod (Teds actor) died, that's why Kelso would be crying.
R.I.P. Sam Lloyd, world will never forget you.
недавно начал только смотреть сериал.. очень жаль , что его нет с нами =( душевный актер
That would imply the world knows who he is. And 99 percent of the world has no clue 😂
R.I.P. Sam Lloyd
You were such a gem on the show. Gonna miss this man. This song hits different now.
"I love you more than Turk" That is basically a marriage proposal from JD.
This show kept me up when i was at my lowest and feels like i lost a close friend. RIP Sam.
shakarbasnyat1 same for me, plus he died from the same thing as my wife. Life can be a bastard.
Agreed. This show did wonders for my mental health as an angry, depressed high schooler. RIP Sam. So sad about his passing.
@@HotStrange yeah same here, it was during high school for me too when I started.
shakarbasnyat1 I was in middle school when it started and I watched it all the way through high school. It ended during my senior year.
G'bye Sam. You were the secret MVP of this show.
When JD tells Elliot he loves her more than Turk, it's the most hilarious thing that ever made me cry.
My farewell when his son proposed to turks daughter and he faints twice
I always liked interpreting this as a clever sentence. Meaning that He loves Elliot more than Turk loves Elliot.
Not that he loves Elliot *more* than Turk.
I think JD just lied. I don't believe that he loves Eliot more than he loves Turk for a single second.
scrubs was a big part of my childhood. sam's passing is just extremely sad.
Let's just appreciate this about Sam Lloyd: he was a great vocalist. The guy's song moments were some of my favorite moments of the show.
eastwing329 absolutely true. Remember watching this scene as a kid and it gave me so much chills back then, just by the music. Now being 21 yo it amazes me even more. Sam and The Blanks brought such great things to the show ❤️
The show for me was mostly an occasional treat but it was Ted singing the theme song for Underdog that prompted me to make watching it a priority
Miss you much Sam
Damn, he's gone. This is so sad considering he became father a year ago too
Someday his child may read these comments and be able to see how beloved their father was
Salvatore What a wonderful thought. Sam was treasured by so many people, a warm and wonderful man. RIP 🙏
The chemistry of the actors is unparalleled. It made Scrubs so good. Little gems like this was a summary of the series. RIP Sam, you made this scene better than it would have been, and it would have been great.
When Christa Miller gets thrown in the pool, just seems like such a hearty laugh. Feels like Bill Lawrence had the cast in mind for this episode and gave them a vacation on the production studio’s dime.
Netflix needs to bring this show back. I’d watch this again. What a beautiful version of the song that fit the show so well.
@@harrylane4 it didn't work well because they didn't bother getting the rights to use the same music
It's available on Hulu, and just a few weeks ago Zach Braff and Donald Faison started rewatching the show for the first time since it went off air, and they're doing a podcast to talk about it. Check out Fake Doctors, Real Friends. It is EXACTLY what we all need right now.
"Thanks for everything Ted... Sincerely" - Robert Kelso. RIP Sam, we will miss you so much
R.I.P. Sam Lloyd. Your voice was magical and your music underappreciated. We love you, sincerely, the Scrubs fanbase.
I’ll be honest: this rendition of Hey Ya is incredible
This rendition comes from Obadiah Parker. Check him out and the full version of the song
Ted Buckland was such a great character, and brought some much joy to so many fans of the show. RIP Sam Lloyd 😔
Thank you for Theodore Buckland: he made me laugh, he made me cry, he taught me some very valuable life lessons. Thank you Sam Lloyd. Rest in Peace, my friend
The cast of Scrubs is talented beyond words. It's amazing how Sam Lloyd flipped a HipHop song like "Hey Ya" on it's head and the result was arguably an even better version. I just found out today that Sam passed away it hit hard.
Not taking ANYTHING away from him at all, because this is an incredible rendition. But it was kind of a "pop" song and also, Obidiah Parker did this, sad kind of version of it before this had come out. Again like I said no hate, this is beautiful, but I do kind of think the Obidiah Parker, slow sad version might have been inspiration.
@@armpit_farts7327 It definitely was. The parts of the melody that are modified from the original are EXACTLY as they're arranged in OP's version (which I know well, since I recorded a cover of Parker's version myself a few years ago). Gorgeous job by Sam.
Andre 3000 conceived most of his Love Below songs this way, because he played most the instruments. He preformed a few live in acoustic. BUT Ted definitely projected the emotions of the story being told.
Rest in peace, Sam Lloyd. You died too young but you have eternal life in the works of art you gave the world.
"Elliot... I love you more than Turk." - Ladies and Gentlemen... this is the greatest declaration of love that J.D. could give anyone. Just awesome :>
+TheBaconPig
You're mad dude, that's the greatest declaration he could ever make, he already love Turk more than anything, so imagine, someone he love even MORE THAN TURK?
That's not a great compliment, because as far as I know, Turk doesn't love her. :>
rest in paradise sam loyd. came here immediately after hearing about his passing, my favorite cover from the show. i send my heart out to his wife and child :(
Scrubs will forever have a special place in my heart. I started watching in elementary school, rewatched countless times during high school. Now I started studying psychology and am currently rewatching it again. It feels pretty cool knowing I will be able to help people like in the show one day and that encourages me. Thanks for all these memories
They don't make Sitcoms like these anymore. RIP Sam Llyod. You will be missed
@@BVBrocks927 No it's true. People get fucking offended by everything. Watch reaction to Seinfield so cringe
@@mezmerize6989 nah, this show was enjoyable but it was also the least offensive or controversial show made.
Ruhe in Frieden, mein Freund. Du hast mir so manche schöne Stunde beschert.
Ich habe mein deutsch allein dürch fernsehen gelernt (lebe in Bosnien) und us fing mit Spongebob an, aber dürch Scrubs lernte ich vieles als teenager, und lerne als erwachsener mann immer noch. Ruhe in frieden Ted.
@@denisskenderovic3707 Viel Glück weiterhin. Ist doch schon echt nicht schlecht!
The interaction with JD and Elliot at the end always meant so much to me. Throughout the series, we see how insecure she is because of how her parents always belittled her and made her feel worthless, and it's so fulfilling to see her end up with someone who readily tells her that he loves her and considers her his dream girl. It's nice to see her validated.
considering yet what JD did to her in the past i was quite surprised with this result tbh. And tbh JD is quite an ashole actusally.
@@russianjew8147Not surprising, one of the big plot points throughout the entire series is JD growing up and maturing as a person. Season 8 JD is a MUCH better person than Season 3 JD.
RIP the legend.. may his voice be eternal and to be enjoyed in the afterlife
The best show ever. it combined everything it has humor comedy but also drama tragedy love and so on there is no other show that could combine those perfectly
So expertly written and no television show has absolutely nailed real life and the Health care industry...
Nothing will ever and i mean EVER replace Scrubs. The show can hit all of your self emotions From Sad, Happy, Angry, and Also teaches us along the way. Not the Doctor stuff but how we Feel, See & Treat one another. Best Show Ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marti Mert You should check out Community, even though I watched that first and only just finished watching Scrubs, I would say that Community is really the successor to Scrubs, especially in the TV bromance department... after one season of Community you would know what I mean...
I’m case you didn’t already know, your boi was in a Beatles tribute band as Paul and despite being right handed he taught himself to play guitar left handed for authenticity.
WHAT A LEGEND
TF?! I thought he was just left-handed. He's even playing a right-handed guitar upside-down, just like Paul does!
I sometimes wonder if we will still all meet up here in the comments in 50 years when we're older and in our final phase of our lives, reminiscing about our past and how important shows like these were for us. Nostalgia really is one of the most amazing things a human can feel.
" nothing is forevaaa" thanks Sam. never forget you!! RIP
RIP Sam. I laughed at so many of your lines in this show and your musicality in the show was an inspiration to me as a musician. Rest easy, buddy.
I just discovered Ted died back in April this year :(
Same man. It hit hard, I knew he was sick but last thing I read he was on recovery..
Scrubs was an important part of my twenties (and still is in my thirties) ... Ted was one of them. Like we say in my country: "he went on tour". RIP Sam.
scrubs = easily the best written and underrated sitcom ever
Yeah, this show has it all - loveable characters, no canned laughter, great music, and it's actually funny. But it's not just about the humor, there's always something for the heart, too, and occasionally it's even quite poignant.
It's a great show.
In fact one of the best, but it is not, and never was "underrated".
It got and gets the attention it deserves.
I miss scrubs so much
Bamu I miss scrubs too, but sometimes you gotta let go to keep it perfect (season 9 was unnecessary btw)
Bamu does anyone know how to watch scrubs again? Like is it one netflix or somthibg like that??
When JD he said he loved Elliot more than Turk... goddamn the POWER of that line was like a punch in the heart :*)
Rest in Peace. 😢 It breaks my heart that you can’t see your baby grow up. But I’m sure you are watching from above. 😞
This was actually one of my favourite episodes.
Damn he can sing
+Fluffy Bacon haha I think he ment the way he holds the guitar lmao
He plays with a right-handed guitar, and holds it like if it was a left-handed guitar haha! Love that!
RIP to a legend. You had such a big part of my upbringing. Scrubs when I was a student taught me more than my uni degree itself
One of the best renditions of this song I've ever had the joy of hearing. Rest in peace Sammy, you will be remembered, loved, and missed dearly.
I just binged scrubs for the last few days and I had to look up this cover by Ted... I was today old when I learned of his death and it is just sad. my prayers go out to his family and friends. he has entertained a whole generation and his music is just a blessing. RIP Sam Lloyd. you will be missed.
... will be missed. By whom? Obviously not yourself, otherwise you would have written "I miss him" and not outsourced the missing.
"Elliott, youre my dream girl"
*cuts to JD's head*
"three days later i realized i didn't actually love her... again"
Scrubs is truly one of the best series ever made...
Sad to hear Sam Lloyd has passed away, you got yourself immortal with this cover dude R.I.P
As Kelso once said, "Thanks for everything, Ted!" We love you, Sam. You'll always be with us. ❤️
I remember me and a friend of mine being into Scrubs in middle school, and the songs especially. 'Overkill' was the first song my friend learned on guitar. I would listen to The Blanks' rendition of Underdog and feel weirdly motivated. Or when I would need to pick-me-up and search for the clip with Kate Micucci.
Ted never failed to make me either laugh or smile.
Thanks for everything Sam. Sincerely.
I'm getting older and everyone I love is dying.

This is just one guy's opinion, but this had to have been one of the best final seasons a TV show's ever offered us.
Its crazy how good this video is as an example of an end of an episode and then the season finale comes and does it even better
Christian Santana agreed! I actually think it's one of the best shows tv has to offer, period. I take no shame in that!
tss3393 I said the same thing man....no final season of any show came close to this...season 9 doesnt exist to any true Scrubs fan. Everything about the final season is perfect, it closes out perfectly, you see the maturation of JD and Co., not just professionally, but in their private lives too..it was just perfect.
Yes, fu**ing yes. Season 8 is the final season, no matter what. This wedding and the final episode are truly a masterpiece.. There are only a very few things in tv which I think are as amazing as "scrubs" was.
