So basically because the grown adults in the family hindered the investigation by not providing information a little girl had to help solve the investigation.

Lost all sympathy for the mom when she identified the wrong person as the shooter. Poor kid, had he not had a solid alibi that woman’s accusation could have ruined his life.

It’s sad her older brother was the cause of her death and they wouldn’t acknowledge it. He takes off speeding from 5150 then they just happened to randomly shoot at his brothers car that just happened to be passing by. They got their little sister killed

The sister was involved in the gang banging, that's why she was there it wasn't an accident. Unfortunately everyone was in the wrong that night
This sheds only a shimmer of light on gun violence and gangs in California. My aunt was murdered 2 blocks down from my house and the man that killed her is still on the loose, he wore a wig the night he shot her in the head and fired 9 rounds into her vehicle. I hope to find justice for her just like this mom and her family had. I feel inspired to do my own investigating as we have not received any updates since her murder in August.

The mother was not interested if any other innocent person got hurt or killed. Totally irresponsible, not caring about the people whose cars got blown up. What if the drivers were inside? They're other people in the world besides your daughter.

@@vulcan7877 I think there’s enough to watch. Apart from the original content, there are a lot of shows and movies being added throughout each month. At least where I live. But I agree it’s not as much as it used to, but that’s probably because of the pandemic. Fortunately most shows have start or resumed shooting, if not finished shooting, so more content is on it’s way. But don’t forget virtually all productions were suspended for many consecutive months last year. So it was expected that at some point less new content would come out.

Yeah. It was very possible he was just driving the car and didn't intend to assist a murder. Also, he seemed to be turning his life around. He was studying to become a chef and he was the one who gave the names to the cops. He probably went to mexico for fear of his life.

Crystal’s original My Space account had gang members involved in her death in her Top 5 which means they were most likely close friends of hers before she was killed. However, they didn’t recognize who she was on the fake account. It makes you wonder how did she know them and how involved was she in the drug and gang lifestyle. It said her husband, got heavily into drugs when she broke up with him. Is this the affiliation she had with them? Why were they in her Top 5? How did they didn’t recognize Angel was really Crystal when they were in her Top 5?

Not the best doc on Netflix. (And I usually love Netflix docs). It was trying too hard to have the audience be sympathetic with the mother.. paint her in this heroic motherly light. However, It was hard to feel compassion for. Her actions and arrogance were off putting (unless that was the intention). She essentially laughed off her poor choices throughout the investigation with bravado . This despite so many others lives negatively affected by her irrational thinking.
This seems really good to watch and yet sad too

If you haven’t watched it, then I’ll save you the time. They find the killer at the end and everyone (except the detective) is boring and pretentious, and the mother of the victim is the biggest loser of them all.
I agree huge waste of time as soon as I saw the victims family members I knew this was just another gang affiliated case 🙄 If they would’ve complied and be honest the cops would’ve been able to catch the real guy not an innocent boy who the mom lied about
