The Ed Sullivan Show was a television variety program that aired on CBS from 1948-1971. For 23 years it aired every Sunday night and played host to the world's greatest talents. The Ed Sullivan Show is well known for bringing rock n' roll music to the forefront of American culture through acts like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. The entertainers each week ranged from comedians like Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield, to Broadway stars Julie Andrews and Richard Burton, to pop singers such as Bobby Darin and Petula Clark. It also frequently featured stars of Motown such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. The Ed Sullivan Show was one of the only places on American television where such a wide variety of popular culture was showcased and its legacy lives on to this day.

She was a very talented little girl at the time. She was also on Leave it to Beaver 🤠👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I kbew I'd seen her someplace.
That was fantastic! She has a big Broadway voice. Incredible talent especially at 12 years old
I will always think of the Wizard of Oz when I hear this song. Takes me back to my childhood when my brother and my parents were still living, and all of us kids would be perched on the sofa watching it together. I miss those days.
I never knew the beautiful back story on this song until just recently. 🌈💙
Happy Friday 🥳 Thank you for sharing! 💖
Same here ❤❤❤

Yeh, but she swings it, to a degree.
This is wicked.
She was my sister. Been looking almost 50 years for this. She had an incredible voice. She was Judy Garland's protege. She worked a lot with Judy.
Very talented at such a young age. At times it seem like she's trying to emulate Judy, but still maintains her own sound.
Just read her obituary she passed in 2020 . She had a great career her married name was Evans . She had a beautiful voice.
Beautiful Powerful Voice! Sounds similar to the Adult Judy Garland in Concert! Yoland White should have Smiled at some point in her performance! She Looks likes so Serious Solemn and Sad! Nice Tribute to the Legendary, Adorable, Extremely Talented, Very Intelligent, Very Pretty Judy Garland!
She was born April 22, 1950 Died November 18, 2020. In Oxnard California.
The Ed Sullivan Show, Yay! I liked this video so much, it made me smile!
How do you have 353,000 subscribers with only 2 videos and 11 shorts? :p
Amazing voice!
Amazing
She had a very good voice and sang this with appropriate emotion.
Beautiful Child , Beautiful Voice , Very Talented 🌹 God Bless Her Always ❤️
I ❤ watching The Ed Sullivan Show 💓💕💞💝💗💖💘
Yolanda graduated from Hollywood High school in 1968 and married in 1969. She had a loving family ....two children Robert and Janet. In 1972 she took college courses and worked for the US Forestry Service at Six Rivers National Forest as an editorial technician, surveyer and firefighter. She was dedicated to her church and served as choir director, youth group leader and soloist. She loved music and praying for people. She also loved Hallmark movies and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a great sense of humour and was much missed after her passing in 2020.
Thanks For Sharing This ❤❤❤❤
Bela música, o filme Mágico de Oz é de mais lindo !! 💃
She puts you in mind of Lena Zavaroni, a Scottish child star who also left us too early.
Very good. My favorite version is by Eva Cassidy which is on YT.
Thanks for sharing this video and showing me another take on “Over the Rainbow “. I wonder what happened to MS White?
Have a great day!
She passed away in California back in 2020
She had a little of Judy's quality in her voice. However, I did notice some points where she had to ease off climbing up and then grab that high note. Judy would have slid all the way up. She definitely could sing, though. I'm wondering how old she was here. 🤔😊
She starts nailing it at about 1:20.
How good is young person?
Suuuuuuu
Where is she now?
Grave
Patti Labelle and the Bluebells have a wonderful version
the greatest version
Decent version
From 1:27 _ 1: 35 or so.
Streisand !
So.... Keep your day job? There's a tempo in there somewhere? Oh, honey, who does your hair? I got a million of 'em. :)
Pretty good. A bit too derivative for me.
OK keyboard critic! 🤦🏻♀️
THE HAD GLOVES TOOK ME OUT! WTF!
Not bad but no Judy Garland.
POOR THINGS 15 MINUTES OF FAME
