Conas taoi! :) Please note Trinity College genomic evidence of Éire / Ireland descendants are as being of a majority of the native Bronze Age DNA. Celtic is a cultural style, an identity, a way-of-life, art-forms and so on pertaining to peoples of various DNA, where descendant DNA in Éire is the majority of the DNA of the Bronze Age ancestors. ‘We have very strong genetic continuity from the early Bronze Age onwards in Ireland right up to the modern periods’, Dr. Cassidy says, and Prof. Bradley mentions that the Bronze Age genome is the setting-up of not only the Irish genes but west Europe isle genes. The beauty of Celtic identity is that it is apart of the ancestors, specifically from the Iron Age, and thus apart of Éire today. Hey Awesome Ancient! How are you? Thanks so much for the comment and video link. Just to clarify are you saying some of the video’s information is inaccurate? If so, I’d love to get in contact with you and work towards rectifying it. The last thing I want is to produce misinformation but I’m definitely not an expert in the subject.
Look forward to hearing from you and greatly appreciate your feedback.
      Conor 👍

@@MrBradleyLearningMadeFun Hi Conor! Thanks for the reply. I'm good thank you, hope you are good. As a teacher myself i totally understand the hard job of how there is quite often only a limited amount of time to get across certain amounts of information! And its a positive to have witty entertaining content for students which you definitely have. Its just that archaeological and DNA evidence doesn't (well doesn't yet if ever) show an influx of a Celtic people into Ireland around 400BC as the Irish History Curriculum says (page 8 to be a nerd bout it lol!). This theory pre-dates the evidence we have now of the high Bronze Age DNA. Kinda what i am trying to say is that the Celts didn't come and go between such-and-such date, Ireland has been inhabited by ancestors and descendants, all of an extremely rich culture that includes identity that is commonly known as Celtic. And that in various degrees identity is also as well attached to race / DNA, (often inseparable such as Maori of New Zealand, where i live). I am a full descendant of west Europe isle stock lol, and I make teaching resources that are archaeologically referenced if you might wanna take a look? Thanks :) Amber
