To continue... Klayton is talking in this song about how he feels trapped and isolated, and how he is "pushing through" and doesn't want to wait another eon. Furthermore he talks about all the things he's missed in that "lost eon."
I believe in this song, the singer is stuck in a state of reflection from which he cannot break from, but is trying and realizes that he must in order to truly live. Further, he realizes he's missed a lot of living b/c he's been trapped in reflection.

Maybe it's just me, but I noticed everything on CZcams is related to video games one way or another. Even in a video completely unrelated, someone finds a way to bring them up.
This song is very deep. Many of the lyrics point to what philosopher Soren Kierkegaard talked about in his book "The Present Age". Without going into much detail, he talks about action vs inaction and the inability of those caught in deep reflection (or "Ressentiment" as he calls it) to be spurred to action. He further goes on to talk about how those who choose to act rather than reflect are actually alive and "living" whereas those caught in reflection are quite literally "dead."
if Klayton or Celldweller was a character in Mortal Kombat, this song would be his introductory song and he'd have this epic cutscene in the beginning of every match.
