Saw them at the Fox Theater in Pomona. Definitely one of the most entertaining live performances I've seen this year.

The show was yesterday and the guy did it! And when he started singing the second verse he pointed at me for a while because I was pointing at him. The best night of my life. Karin even sang A Tooth For An Eye herself, with Olof and one of the dancers miming the vocals next to her in addition.

Seeing this next week. I've been waiting since STH's release (it's my favorite album ever) and when the first videos of these shows popped up I got even more excited because it's fucking perfect.
They're both on stage, in blonde and red wigs. Also the person in the portrait is Karin with a fake beard :)

Anyway, I meant the girl "singing" is not Karin but the comment that started the conversation has been removed.

That's actually not her. Younger and with much darker hair than Karin's. But it's not true they weren't on stage either. On this video Karin is playing the koto on the far left and Olof is playing that weird harp behind the girl "singing".
I haven't seen Mozart directing any of his compositions lately and I wouldn't consider that cheating...

They're not there to please crowds but to make a statement in an artistic form as they said ahead of their shows. I much prefer their older material but I don't really have complaints about the show. As they said, why is this less live than it was when Olof spent the whole show pressing buttons for the "Silent Shout" tour?
And, yeah, completely different experience with Die Antwoord. Equally awesome live though.
This tune is mad good. But I keep on waiting for a thundering bass line and drum beat to kick in.
Their entire Shaking The Habitual tour is lip synced, sadly. I was upset when u found out.
I love The Knife but it's look like playback....
Though I'm hoping the male dancer will do Got 2 Let U for us, just because it's so funny and it's a festival gig so people will be so fucking confused.
