The only problem with Valk costing 5 is getting it from Bad Moon Rising which would really suck.

i feel the game has revived these days i see more views on videos and playing as zombie i get fast matches

I also have a suggestion and a huge oversight:
Chum Champion isn't just a "Destroy each plant with 3 or less ability" zombie, it also reduces the strength of plants. So i believe it should instead reduce plants strength by -3 and destroy ones with 0 strength. That way it can be used against stronger plants.
The problem with chum is the same as zombot. The plant hero can just replant everything

Winter squash: Freeze a zombie. When a frozen zombie gets damaged, destroy it.
This roughly doubles the resource cost per removal and makes freeze a better trade facilitator instead of plain broken, especially with some AoE freeze on the plant side.
It'll be a minion super stench that works with smarty's own multi-lane schtick and berry decks (maybe?)
this'd be cool with a theoretical ice shroom trick, being "freeze all zombies" or smth.
it may also make winter melon viable, since it would fill both requirements to destroy a zombie.
Plus, this would also be scientifically accurate as frozen objects easily shatter.

I have one additional suggestion;
When you play cornucopia it fills even the lanes you have put other plants, with team up plants
But if there’s a lane with a team up plant cornucopia will make any kind of plant in that lane

Buff kangaroo to a 4 2/6 that has deadly and says: when hurt, bounce this back into your hand and this card costs 1 less for the rest of the game
So that it could be a control card that gets better each turn.
You could Change Winter Squash in the way that he doesn't destroy a Frozen Zombie but Deals 5-6 Damage to a choosable card, if you freeze something.
interesting thing if you give chum champ gravestone, it would be the same turn as pogo (since that was nerfed to 5) so it would be a buff for neptuna deception decks. If plants play one big minion and its pogo then they cry, if they play many small minions and its champion they also cry.

It’s funny watching Fry completely neuter plant removal so Gargs can become viable, when in reality it’s not the removal that’s the problem, it’s the fact that the game goes by so quickly that Gargs have no chance at being played. If you want to make Gargs viable, reduce their cost, or rework them to make their cost worth it. Killing all removal in this game does nothing but make the game even more unbalanced.

@@Mekerda__ I don't think that gargs are too slow, the problem is definitely plant removal. In a Garg deck, you could still run the absolute best early game cards for turn 1-4 and be able to stall until turn 5. Gargs are not the problem, removal is.

I know I'm late, but I think primal pea shouldn't be able to bounce cards that cost 5-6 or more. This would mirror how it's not able to knock back bully zombies in PVZ2.
this is actually a really cool idea
I feel like a really clever rework would be to reduce its damage to 1 but give it more health, maybe make it a 2 cost 1-3 or even 1-4. The reason for this is so that it can no longer bounce Zombies with Armored 1, as it fails to inflict any damage to them. It would instantly give it a niche as a cheaper, reusable, but flawed bouncing tool.

Wintersquash idea: First time you freeze a zombie this turn, destroy it. (Same idea as ninja zombie, deals another 1 damage to all plants just once per turn) and make it a 4 cost 2/5

The easiest and best way of countering winter squash is *removing all freeze cards from the game*
Octo Zombies could have so many potentials, such as imo having the ability to halve the attack (or -8) of a plant when played
I think winter squash being a 3 6, deal 3 damage to a zombie when it’s frozen would be a way to make it less annoying

Winter Squash: 2/6 Costs 4. When a zombie is frozen, deal 4 damage to it, if it’s a gravestone, destroy it
Ra zombie should prevent the plant player from getting more sun each turn, and should also give the zombie player an extra brain each turn.
I know I'm late to this, but it'd be really fun to rework octo based on hearthstone card Rattlegore - it's a 9 mana 9/9, but when it dies it resummons as 8/8, then 7/7 and up until 1/1. So to make octo playable, I'd keep him 8 mana 8/8 but when it dies, make him resummon as 6/6, then 4/4 and then 2/2
Make Swabbie a 100/100 Untrickable, Strikethrough, Frenzy that instantly wins the game when played. Also make it a legendary.

Since the amphibious lane is already situational make it the first lane, and the heights be the last lane, since having a minion in the heights lane already makes it better. Make amphibious finishers good

I just realized that Octo Zombie is 8 8 8 because it's an octopus and octopus have 8 tentacles
I have an idea on how to fix octo zombie, keep it an 8 cost zombie, but when it is destroyed a place holder sushi or something with 8 health is played and at the start of next turn make an octo zombie where the sushi was but its attack lowers by -2 -1 every single time its brought back, it can still be bounced even in its sushi form costing 6 to put the sushi on the field.
if shamrocket costed 6 nobody would use it
Primal Pea is actually broken, it’s a 2-2 that costs 1 sun that can literally bounce zombies as long as it can hit them.
Hey Fry I wonder if changing Octo Zombie to be like Astrocado where you gain an octopus and it has to survive a whole turn to turn back into an octo zombie would be good

6:00 To fix primal peashooter, I think you could fix it by making it so that if it hurts a zombie AND SURVIVES, bounce that zombie. That means you have to increase its health for it to work
no, definately not. that would only make it good with citron, carrotina and (kinda) green shadow, as increasing its health is not possible with smarty cards.

That’s a bit op because wing nut can be useful but it isn’t game changing exactly cause teleport but that is insane however I saw an idea on Reddit which was like 5 cost 3/5 mummified garg all gargs are untrickable it can be countered on 5 like wing nut is countered by fruit cake

I would love it if control decks came back and would be meta like back in the day. It means that expensive decks would be back again, cuz most legendaries are expensive cards, it might earn popcap even more money cuz people wanna have more legendaries. Back in the day when only set 1 was available, all zombies went for control till shark and plankwalker, those were the good ol days. Stupid shamrocket, GK was actually weak against garg decks cuz he had no removal except for doomshroom

I kind of wish winter squash was never a card. I think it'd be fine to have trigger happy freeze cards that freeze a lot of zombies, buffing snowdrop, but not killing them. Buff snowdrop and stop a zombie from attacking. It makes a big plant and controls their big zombies, but doesn't remove them. We could have a 6 cost freeze all zombies and without winter squash, it'd be balanced. I had an idea for a plant card that makes a frozen zombie do a bonus attack, but you draw 2 cards. That would be totally fine if winter squash didn't give freeze other more potent opportunities.
How about a card that makes the order of the lines reversed?
It could be a reversed clock legendary maybe;)

There's a big problem with frenzy + untrickable zombies. It means there's only like 3 things that stop it. And chances are, two of those are the same class. Now about 7 Plant Heroes cannot answer it.
What about shamrocket being a 5-cost "destroy a zombie with 5 or more, conjure an event card"

If all plants big removal cards were nerfed, this would be great, because it gets rid of a problem and provides you with another card, even if that card is bad. It also makes zombie garg decks playable, but still is a counter to them. Unlike how shamrocket gives you removal, and you still have some sun left, it either takes out a card that they spent around 5 brains on, making it equal and fair, or takes out a card they buffed with other cards, and also gives you a card, giving you major card advantage. It would be great, as it's still viable removal and zombie garg decks become not worthless

Interesting, but ramp on the zombie’s side becomes unbelievably broken, imagine medulla on 3, brain vendor on 4 and than wannabe on that turn. I mean, what are the plant players going to do? Also whatever they play next turn can just be bonus attacked.

A bounce zombie meta concept:
Trash garbage fireman zombie 4 cost 2/5 ability whenever a zombie is bounced it gains a permanent 1/1 stat upgrade and buff the fireboi by a temporary 1/1 stat upgrade (permanent upgrade is like when sync swimmer changes it's stats and temporary means when it buffs if it gets bounced it does not regain it's stats)
First of all makes cards like kangaroo yetis kind of viable also is a counter to smarty class

We should get rid of most destroys and replace them with damage. Shamrocket doing 5 damage for 3 cost would be strong, but not "2 z-class now are pointless"

I think they should nerf/buff fruit cake to (deals 7 damage, the plant conjures the card you just attacked but with double the sun cost) which gives you a reason to only use it on cards that cost more and that would make ramp more viable, not exactly sure yet but it seems like a good start
Octopus’s should be buffed to (when this kills a plant, make an octoplant in that lane)
octoplant 0 cost 0/5 animal plant, zombie attacks in this lane go right through the octoplant, this would basically mean that their lane is clogged and the zombie in that lane (often the octozombie) will continue to hit face (or the team up behind the octoplant) which makes octopussy such a viable late game card, and the only way for the plant to counter it would be to either move the octoplant or keep destroying the zombies that front the lane but since control would be nerfed this would give beastly heroes more opportunities for what they’re supposed to do, control and then put late game minions on the field
But then, what happens if you use Fruitcake on Cornucopia?Do you just get another one?

My ideas to fix some Zombie legendaries
Octo: gain an octo zombie and half it's cost( 4 cost, 2,1 then 0)
Zombot : make it and 8/8 with gravestone
Mondo: maybe make it a 5 cost 3/4 dino roar all pets get +1/1 and frenzy and remove it's destroy all plants here ability.
Mechasaur: make it a 6 cost 5/5 and give it gravestone
Pharaoh : 4/5 untrickable?
Chum: 6 cost but it doesn't need evolution
Battlecruiser: remove gravestone
pharoh would hsve to be your heroes health cant below 5 and mechasaur and chum champion are way to slow at 6
But chum is still rubbish because it still doesn’t counter what the opponent plays on turn 6 like a repeat moss combo etc etc
Chum: 6 cost, gravestone and doesn't need evolution

Trickster can't be 11 or 12 cost because that just breaks leap...
I don't think Shamrocket should cost 6, I think the price of the card should determine what it removes. So! If you Shamrocket a normal garg, it'll cost 5 since the garg costs 5
