I started this game a week ago I’m liking it a lot so far, also I love soundtrack so far. I’m currently on chapter 3 and my favorite character is Sakura so far
They did ,,something'' in West. They added DLC with main characters from SW1-5 to Super Robot Wars 30, and ... thats all. But probably this series is again forgotten like they did with Valkyria Chronicles.
Tite Kubos art style is always amazing really brings me back to the days of reading bleach weekly on the edge of my seat, so glad to see him still working
If only they would have let him transition to bi weekly chapter releases or something. I think the 1 chapter a week is just horrendous on all these mangaka.

Every time I hear this song I get so hyped, love me some Sakura Wars. I fell in love with this series when seeing previews for it in a game magazine, eventually found out their was anime for this so bought that up, got PS2 LE box, and now finally a new game for this series. SEGA really needs to remaster the Saturn game, and bring out on PS4.
It was, but in 90's and early 00's (Sakura Wars TV was broadcast on AXN Sc-fi and Cartoon Network). It have even own cinematic movie. Now this series is only shadow without Ouji Hiroi, and Sega now is too poor / skimpy for doing that again.
This game really needs a Switch ports, The Switch Audience would love to pick up this game. Especially the Japanese crowd... Hopefully the game sold enough for a sequal.
Kinda funny that despite being the focus of the game, the main PROTAGONIST HIMSELF barely appears in the dang opening at all. They may as well not have included him at all!
I still love the original Geki Teikoku Kageki-dan song but this for me is hands down, a better version of the song, especially the last parts of the song where they sing in higher notes.
I honestly had my doubts but sega REALLY needs to look at those old but gold franchises because im literally enjoying ever second of this game. There are some gripes with the combat but other then that the delivery is pretty solid. An i see you saga trying to compete with persona and FE in the waifu wars
Sakura Taisen had the original waifu characters since 1996. Sega of America was just dumb and did not know how to market it at the time during Saturn,Dreamcast and PS2 eras (Sakura Taisen 5 was released in 2010 and not by Sega.A full 5 years after the japanese release).
