Coaches are not loyal to players telling players to leave or cutting them sooooo
If the coach is telling a player to get in the portal there's one or two things going on. The player is not good enough to get any action and the coach advises him to find a program where he will get significant playing time and to me that's not disloyalty that's honesty and sound advice. Also a player may lack the proper work ethic ( Cormani Mc clain) and the coach can't trust him to do the right things. A lot of these players are chasing a bag because some schools collective s have more money to pay a player. Don't get me wrong I understand your point.

My friend played pro hockey in the minors and they would never give him a chance at the NHL, he said he was quitting if he didnt get to play a few NHL games. He played 3 games, scored 4 goals and continued to play 10 yrs in the NHL. My point is some players have talent but its not seen by their coaches. Rashad got a chance at Miami OH, seems he did well.

It's ok when Trav flips to JSU. It's ok when Cormani flips to CU. College football is a tough business. Teams (like CU) gotta be able to take it (team divorces) as the euphoria of the mountains, the cameras, and the celebs (the Show) begins to wear off and becomes unimportant.
