  • This is the second instalment of "Lorcan Film Unit" (also know as the Crowe family) piece of Dublin. Once again firefighter and historian by all accounts Mr Leslie Crowe has captured some great footage of Dublin. With the music accompaniment from Leslie's son Noel we are once again transported to a different time.
There is more of this to come and it is great to see that this is being passed on to anyone that is interested around the world. So if you know any of the people in the videos please email.

October Knight ‘Miranda’ was another name as far as we know. Then the barges had place names like Killiney

lovely footage of the Tolka the two lads could well have been my brother and myself as it was taken directly at the back of the family home, spent hours there stoning the rats later up and down on Rafts all the way to phewno
