Most rappers have trouble staying relevant for more then 2 or 3 years before falling off and he’s still outselling rappers with his albums he’s dropping after 20 plus years in the game

And..... if you want to appreciate the "source" of the fast rap thing where Eminem paid homage before he went off rapping fast, then look up a song by an all female group from the 80s called JJ Fad..... they did a song called, "Supersonic." This was Em paying homage to his roots, even with a similar cadence. Just fire, for an old man like me that was born the same year as Eminem and grew up on old rap when Dr. Dre was part of the whole N.W.A./Eazy-E thing way back when. It's why so many people don't get many references from Eminem..... always paid respect to his predecessors. By the way.... Eminem did give the speech to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction to Run DMC....... they fused old and new and different styles when they did "Walk This Way" with Aerosmith. Hope you guys give some old school stuff a listen. Not hating on new stuff, as I like some of that too..... but old school Marley Marl, and Eric.B. and Rakim was the progenitor of everything that is now hip-hop.... even their beats the new artist use and don't give credit for the old artists that did them prior like Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Rakim, etc., etc... don't believe me...... look it up and just listen to their music with no lyrics and compare some current songs..... 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

Battle rappers have said this song is EM saying he wants that smoke from anyone worth it and nobody took the bait
He's trying to tell us that all the b******* and everything happened in the world everything i said about him whether it involves him or not he pays attention and it is fuel for him and his skills in this song he's going down the line of what rap is showing the different word play and double in triples and speed and Cadence and he's literally showing us why he is a rap god because you don't see anybody else doing it not even close

I like yaw honesty that it’s hard to understand what Em is talking about. Then to call him the greatest rapper alive. A lot of people would never call him that because of his skin color, or because they can’t relate/ understand what he saying. I’m African American from NJ, both hood and suburbs, so my opinion isn’t biased racially in any way. I believe he is the best rapper alive when we are speaking on straight skill. But he makes different kind of music, so of course a lot of people will say “he has no club bangers, or nobody plays him in the whip which means he can’t be top 10”. I disagree that those are requirements to be the greatest. A personal top 10 should be different then the actual top 10. Jay z isn’t in my personal 10..but I put him second best rapper alive next to EM.
