Have you thought about publishing a calendar? I mean, printouts always look kinda cheap, but a well made calendar in bujo style with your art would be lovely.
These are so inspiring! I feel like, I don't know why I would start one, but I just feel that pull to start, and maybe later I'll figure out why. Also, you have me cracking uuuppp! March is annoying because it has 31 days 😂😂😂🤣 I laughed way too long at that! Anddd, I love that you include your "mistakes" because it helps us to know that it's totally normal, and to just roll with the punches. Making these ourselves, and customizing them, means they AREN'T going to be perfect. That's part of the beauty in it. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, I thoroughly enjoy them!
Love the tip about cutting out paper from the back of your journal to fix boo boos! I started bullet journaling to help me keep organized with on line learning with students last March and all the meetings we had to do. I loved the aesthetic side of the journal as it filled my creative side with little art projects etc. I still do it with passion and it has kept me focused and organized during Covid. I don’t think I’ll ever stop. Thank you Shayda for inspiring me and I look forward to more water colour projects!
I’m loving that weekly! Gorgeous. Bullet journalling has kept me sane during covid. I used it a bit differently to keep track of minimizing my home, keeping track of my garden/plants and noting my baking. It’s become a bit more self-care-centric but I still use it daily.
Loving the March theme! I just can't decide if with or without sketchy black line is my favorite! I love it for the pop of detail but also love the simplicity of the weekly layout without it.
I think you are the best technological and learning guide I have ever found in the field of art.🙂 I really like your teaching style and drawings. They are very beautiful ...🖤❤️🖤I wish you the strength to continue doing this.👊...!
Your march calendar journal looked amazing with the designs and how it was created. You are very talented and beautiful. Plus congrats on you and your husband with your pregnancy.
What a gorgeous spread and colour palette 🎨 I started journalling during Covid to give me something to focus on that wasn't negative. I love art but never made the time for it pre-covid, I've found my love for it again and your videos help me a lot. Thank you @Shayda for bringing art and organisation back into my life 💗
Black line: yay! All the way. For colors, I think I like dark solid colors that are retro and provide stark contrast against the page, like your dark green. I only started liking pastel colors due to their calming-to-the-eyes nature and my worsening astigmatism has taken a liking to them. But my all time favorite may be dark greens, blues (like navy blue, ultramarine blue, aquamarine blue, etc), red (maroon, carmine, burgundy, fire brick, crimson, etc) and summer yellow because of the solid and energy they give me. Warm earthy tones are nice, too 😊 basically almost every color haha
loved the theme!! so chic :) the pandemic re-sparked my joy for bullet journalling and my recent adhd diagnosis sparked it even more as it can be structured perfectly for your liking :)
about COVID affecting my journaling - i actually STARTED journaling because I had so much extra time on my hands. But now that school has been back in session for a while and the world is starting to reopen, I have a convenient and cute place to keep track of appointments and assignments! I can't imagine life without that goofy little journal now :)
I started bullet journaling in January of 2020, and it really helped me during the pandemic. It gave a sense of purpose and it motivated me in many areas of my life. Only time I wasn’t inspired was at the start of this year, but only because I didn’t have a good quality bleed-proof notebook (because I used to do a lot if watercolors) and was frustrated about it for a while, but then I embraced the scrapbook kinda style so everything’s good now! I still love it! Ps: that 🍊 theme is just wow!! 😍
I feel like ur the only CZcamsr who can actually inspire with being consistent and creative...thank you for ur videos cause they truly inspire me to get up do something on my bullet journal.🙏👍
I love that you didn't edit out the the mistakes in the video. It's encouraging to see that you don't get hung up on them and that you come up with simple (and effective!!) solutions. 😊
I actually started bullet journaling due to COVID. I quit my job bc I was pregnant so instead of just carrying my calendar book with my work days in it I started actually journaling! After giving birth in November I kinda stopped so my December layout that I did in advance is empty and January was very minimal (finding a routine with baby) but February is a bit more colorful and Mach has an extra spread that’s just for fun and I’m excited to get back into it!
Your flowers are beautiful! COVID actually gave me the push to journal and I found that I prefer billet journaling. I feel like starting in 2020 has helped me establish the habit, so I’ll be able to keep going when life returns to normal.
I found you on CZcams during the pandemic. I am creating my first journal this year and LOVING it! I am using it to organize my free time. It keeps me focused and keeps me from spending too much time watching the entire Lord of the Rings for the 50th time. Thank you Shayda!
I love love love this layout...... It's so very elegant and sophisticated which it's always anyways Lots of love and good wishes to you for your baby who definitely will be very cute because u know..... Babies are always cute. Girl power 🎉 ♡
I started journaling in the beginning of last year...then COVID! But it gave me a sense of discipline, it’s just that I’m not as creative as others...so at times I felt discouraged...This year, I missed January but started again in February. I made my bullet journal my own, it’s my secret place ...😍 God bless you, Shayda, you’ve helped me so much! Thank you 🙏
So beautiful! Thank you for all the tips! I used my phone as a planner before covid. Then, everything was cancelled so I didn't have anything to plan. Now there are things to plan again, I've been forgetting EVERYTHING! So I started using planners now! I love it and the opportunity to paint/draw! 💖
Another beautiful theme! During the lockdown I started to learn drawing with youre e-cource, then I jumped into journaling as you lead. I started your watercolor e-cource also.Love the fact that you are doing things genuine and with a unique style, making clear steps to follow! Thanks!
Beautiful i will be recreating it..sketchy black lines is a big yes! I did keep up with journal for most of autumn and winter..but I couldn’t make December and Jan this year..I have started with Feb plan with me and intend to create March 🌿🍀🤗
Loving March planner 😍 Where is the time going!? ALL of 2021 has been in the strictest lockdown here in Ireland, so trying to keep the journal going. Thanks for the motivation Shayda
Thank you so much for this! I followed your Feb set up and it was so easy but looked super cute. Really excited to follow this one when February end! 🧡
Absolutely stunning!! I love you, your channel, and your art so much. Watching your videos makes me so happy and inspired and I’m so grateful for the amazing content you make!💕
I was just waiting for this video . You are perfect imperfect . You inspired me to make all do all this in just few hours . Your arts are always amazing . 😊
This set up is really getting me in the mood for spring 😊 I really want to try out the Dutch door method, but I’m using a journal that has thinner paper.
I love the theme, you should do a fruit theme next year, and every month could be a fruit tree! ❤️
Oh, yes! I started bullet journalling during lockdown, to help me cope with anxiety.
Have you thought about publishing a calendar? I mean, printouts always look kinda cheap, but a well made calendar in bujo style with your art would be lovely.
Yes, a desk pop-up one would be so amazing. I would buy one!
Anyone else just love the sound of Shayda's voice? So sweet and cheery. I could listen for hours!
~Gloss and Sparkle
Covid helped me discover this new hobby! I’m grateful for that
