This is a real building model from Mexico City called Torre Latinoamericana. - Věda a technologie
If you're afraid of skyscrapers collapsing, you should live in Japan
Exposure therapy is great for getting over fears
@@Drakevid They have Special skycrapers that protect the building. Something you don't see in other countries...

@@baurdavid6924 Mexico??? Mexican buildings are terrible 😂
This is a 9 on the Richter scale... Richter scale is logarithmic... just saying...

This building structure looks just like Torre Latinoamericana in Mexico City
It could be Empire State
😂 no bro 😂 madarsa jok for you
Chile:🤨
Nankai megathrust earthquake and vivian earthquake
Megathrust earthquake:magnitude 9.1
Chile vivan earthquake:magnitude 9.5

That tower is literally dancing to it's demise.
Lol
He got the moves

Nobody was harmed during making of this video
That's right! it is the best way to educate the general public about earthquake safety and to give more insights about how buildings behave when the ground starts to shake.
@@EarthquakeSim Hello, your honor, what game or program is this?
It's called blender
@@user-wg2on8qd3u Blender 3D
Except for the feelings of the person who built that lol
I was living in a 25 floor residential building wthen the 9.0 earthquake took place in Chile a few days back.
Nothing happened, it just shacked for like a 2 minutes. I was going to get back to sleep but my auntie wanted to evacuate and check on the other people so i obliged and had to spend like an hour outside in the middle of the night.
Got back in and keep sleeping till morning.
Building had no damage whatsoever as expected.
A tsunami hit a couple of rural villages that were damaged though. You can't really defend against the strength of metric tons of water crashing into your place.
Chile(1960):nah mate you gotta see my buildings
2011 Japan: bruh
We
😱
@@shiroumxm2052 de hecho si hubo un sismo bastante fuerte, de 7.1 Richter en acambay edomex, apenas a 50km de la ciudad de México en 1912

can you make a earthquake simulation from inside the building with full detail pls

Es la estructura de la Torre Latinoamericana, un edifico construido por ahí de los años 50’s en la Ciudad de México y que ha soportado tantos sismos, una maravillosa obra de la ingeniería.
Woo-hoo nice job. This is awesome 👌

Is coreect, Skyscrapers will be dissapeared in every world, because, skyscraper doesn't ressist an mega thrust earthquake
When a random person shakes your build:
Buildings in other countries falls/collapses: oh no!
Japan and Floptropica: Huh a Building falls/collapses we don't have that here
Earthquakes are scary…
Good thing skyscrapers are more the just sticks and floors layered. Elevator shafts and piping along with siding to include glass all has different resonance and shear strength is greatly increased. So yeah props for making a video about a not skyscraper experiencing a 9.1 earthquake.
I call this building the Republic Province Tower
Can you make the twin towers vs 9.11 earthquake?
Genius even if dark
Rarely a modern skyscraper will totally collapse, even after 9.0 earthquake. They are built to be safe in areas prone to massive earthquakes, at least to a point that the majority of people will manage to survive and exit the building before the moment of collapsing (if that happens at all after some time while the skyscraper gets hit by several strong aftershocks).
Great video 👍👍
Japan : づりんげあrthくあけ
This simulation is all wrong. These are just Lego pieces falling one by one that's not how it happens.😊
A simulation can never be reality :)
Yeah but it can be close to reality, that way it can really be helpful and this is great work though ❤️❤️
A simulation, which helps engineers discover the weak links in the chain and optimize the design.
@@fibonaccisrazor exactly
@@EarthquakeSimthats true, it seems that you dont care about the type of foundation of latinoamericana tower. Which is special for withstand earthquakes

Imagine this happening in real life and you are on the top floor of that building😱😱😱
Fun fact, a skyscraper is the safest structure to be in when encountering an earthquake.
Yes and no. That very much depends on the structure’s foundation depth, core, materials, the soil (think San Francisco), how well the foundation was engineered, rigidity, and all those other engineering words. It also depends on when the structure was built.
@@TVHouseHistorianFor your knowledge, you want the opposite of rigidity during and earthquake, buildings must bend and buffer the ground movements otherwise they will simply break!
@@marsaeolus9248 that was my point. The level of safety does indeed depend on how rigid the materials are. If there isn’t any give calculated into the entire equation, the building comes down. I’m sorry if my original statement was not clear.
Maybe if it lasts 5 seconds there won't be any destruction.
In japan an earthquake was only 4.1 magnitude, so i read here in comments just some kids say in japan an earthquake was 9 magnitude. I understand i know and u should know that in japan an earthquake occured in the depth 300 or more i dont remember. So when depth is big then it dosent matter. I mean when it is in a big depth it is like a 4.0 or 4.1 magnitude.
blud danced after he died
sometimes i wonder why before these towers collapse they just wiggle like a little strand of spaghetti

If this actually happened in real life atleast only 5% percent of 100 would of made it out alive the other 95% would have definitely not made it out it littery destroyed within 45 sec
Not realistic to how shyscrapers are actually designed…. You can see how the columns and floor members act disjointed and that means there is not a fixed connection at those spots. There would likely be some lateral force resisting system on the outer perimeter. This would allow the perimeter beams and columns transfer loads seamlessly. There’d probably also be a reinforced core…our building methodologies are safe and tested. At least in the US and International Building Code .
what happens when a gust of wind blows down that skyscraper
They fixed that.
Afraid of colapsing buildings?
Move to japan!
Afraid of earthquakes?
Don't move to japan
If u fast forward it then it becomes 9/11
What does that mean? You have to animate every single particle since you’re using blender
