#jtcguitar - Hudba
We got Luca Mantovanelli, Daniele Gottardo, Andre Nieri, Jake Willson and Tom Quayle and put them all in one track?
You can watch it here: czcams.com/video/RCgYni30ZC8/video.html
Well bro unlike the masters like gambale, howe, garsed, holdsworth, none of these guys have there own style minus gottardo but even tj helmrich has done all of it in the mid 90‘s so i understand your younger this should of been called the new generation of fusion guitarplayers ,and no not jealous bitter or anything just educating
Actually as of now matteo mancuso takes the cake hahahah
Do not forget Leonardo Guzman though.!!!
No love for Chris Poland either. The bad thing about the guys on this video is you can pull up videos of different guitarist on youtube all day long doing the same technical guitar gymnastics. If you want to call this "Jazz" Fusion, where is the feeling, the emotion?
Miller melts my face, every time,so does Govan ....thanks JTC Staff
Face Melter Miller! Thanks for your support man!
Andre Nieri....most young musician. Tecnique e Soul level monstre. Govan..no words...he come from space.
Add these Legends to your list
A.Holdsworth
F.Gambale
B.Garsed
T.J Helmerich
Feodor Dosumov very very cool!
Yeah! Great guy and amazing player. Check out his work on our recent collab: bit.ly/Collab-Series-1
All these guitarist is awesome. Martin Miller's monster lick just blew my mind!! Keep em coming!!
Thanks! What to cover next though...any suggestions?
Feodor is my favorite one, he has an unique style and colour.
So glad to see many fellow Italian guitar players among the international monsters!
You guys have produced some killer players for us for sure!
@@JTCGuitar That's great to hear! I'd love to be a part of the team one day! :)
Seriously, Italy has been killing it
Feodor, Guthrie, and Claudio are amazing!!
Daniele Gottardo is a monster 😊
Wonderful choice of guitarists to feature.
Awesome work, chaps!!
Cheers, Jake! Good work on the lick!
All players are insane.
It was great! I’m not arguing with any of the choices!
Cool stuff,Keep up the good work!
Thanks, Oleh!
The human being is aewsome! Endless creativity!
Well said, Daniel. Damn right!
this host is very good
Thanks man! Much appreciated
Thanks for stopping by! Let us know what you think. 🖤👊
I loved the video. Nice contrast between players and varied techniques / approaches to concepts. May I suggest a video on top 10 Atonal? I know it isn't a genre necessarily lol
Niche!
No criticism here. Just keep up the great work. Look forward to your next videos :)
@@daynenichols3745 Thanks!
Deffinately agree with what you were saying with the monster lick! It took me an entire afternoon to nail it but the techniques I took from it have helped me greatfully :) 🤘
Thanks for uploading this video. I had been looking for the jam of claudio petronik. Finally after long time recall I found. xD cheers
No problem. Hopefully uncover some more gems in the future
Keep him as a host please
I'm sure he (I) will be happy to carry on!
All are amazing, but huge shout out to Andre Nieri! ❤️
He's not bad is he!
JTC Guitar haha no. Ele é incrível.
Wow, there's some talent in there! Everyone's incredible but Pietronik is definitely my style
André Nieri ,orgulho brasileiro !
Great player and top guy!
super
Thanks!
Where s TOM QUAYLE????):
We can't get them all in! But we have something Quayle shaped lined up soon
@@JTCGuitar & Jack Thammarat too
He's here: czcams.com/video/RCgYni30ZC8/video.html
People dont realize Jeff Beck and Larry Carlton basically are the pillars of fusion.
" Exellent JTC Stuff on this ( vdc ) present Modern Guitar Player ". .. So' Good ... ☺😊😉/🎼🎶💙🎸🎵/👍✌👌👏👋
love it, keep it up guys
Thanks, Luciano!
Alex 👌
Thanks for showing me Claudio, didn't know he existed until now! Insta followed him.
Our pleasure! New albums in the works too. Check it out.
@@JTCGuitar Oh yeah! I'm already on it now!!!
He is a monster player. But the melodic structure he has is out of this world. Amazing player.
Greg Howe >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> space >>>>>>>>>>>> all
This guy is pretty funny :D So many amazing players at once. MORE!!!!!!
Cheers, Pete! We want to do more, we really do!
@@JTCGuitar Keep them coming I say. I want to see rock next.
Duly noted!
Alex Hutchings 😱
Awww it hurts, actually Ten of the best !!!
This was great!!
Thanks, Kelly!
Great clips, awesome playing! One suggestion: instead of two Martin Miller examples, I think a Tom Quayle clip would have been a perfect fit.
Hopefully you'll like this: czcams.com/video/RCgYni30ZC8/video.html
Have You ever heard af Matteo Mancuso..?
1. Andre Nieri Bro, His tone and finger wow,,, so hot😍😗😗 He is the Best, 2. Gutrie Govan genius
can you make /post a video of the top 10 fastest flamenco guitarists in the world PLEAESE. Besides Paco de Lucia and Geronimo Maya there are some freakin fast and excellent players in the Flamenco world.
Can you make video for Frank gambale too?
An absolutely scary list of phenomenal players!
Yeah man! Killer player yourself so glad you appreciated it
@@JTCGuitar
Flat out AWESOME. ...but remember, if it doesn't tell a story, it's just notes:)
Glad you liked it!
3:48
Tom Quayle really should have been included. Also, check out Matteo Mancuso.
We can't fit all the JTC guys in, but we have something killer lined up with Tom. Plus, this is just episode 1!
And yeah, Matteo is a great player. His covers of Fives is mad!
Hey Michael, we didn't make this just for you, but it's got Tom Quayle in it and you'll love it: czcams.com/video/RCgYni30ZC8/video.html
Right time to switch on me amplifier sistaaaw !
Andre nieri is the best
Rick Graham too
Guthrie Govan is the best in the world.
There is always this one dude...
No Martin Miller
Max ostro
Mateus Asato
@Rupert von Platen nope
Excellent video and excelent host! Keep up the good work. I think that we could have Ten of the best with three classes: rock guitar players, heavy metal guitar players, and blues guitar players! Would be awesome!
Great ideas man. Glad you enjoyed it!
This is more 10 shredders who play along with backing tracks apart from a couple.
Im proud to be the first one to like this video hehehe
Enjoy it?
Andre Nieri is very good
Its you?!Always the email man\?!
Yep! Dan the email man is real!
JTC,, dont you know Max Ostro? He is alien
If they remade this list now, he’d almost definitely be on it. I don’t think he was playing fusion when they made this (or he had just started). Now he’s officially one of their artists, and is in my opinion one of the best guitarists in the world! Cannot wait to see what he does in the future!
Nice video, but where's Greg Howe ?
Hey, so this is a list of ten of the best JTC artists. Greg is amazing, but not on the roster. Think we'll make it clearer in the future!
@@JTCGuitar Oh, I get it ! thank for the answers.
Alan holdsworth?
LARI BASILIO ??
Can't include them all!
@@JTCGuitar Sure! :P
Please do not forget Mika Tyyskä aka Mr. Fastfinger !!!
We can't include everyone in one video but for sure, killer player. A JTC gent!
Where is Max ostro
He’s so young, I don’t think he was even playing fusion at this point. He would have been playing metal around the time this video was made, and hadn’t done anything with JTC guitar yet. If they remade this list, he would absolutely be on it for me, he’s my absolute favorite young player, and I can’t wait to see him continue to grow as an absolutely incredible guitarist. He’s only 18 or 19 now, which is insane to me
Tom Quayle!
Tom's the man! But don't worry, we have something Tom shaped lined up soon
And here it is: czcams.com/video/RCgYni30ZC8/video.html
Where's greg ?
Hey man, so, as a lot of people have missed, this is a list of Ten of the Best from the JTC archives! All players on our roster.
Where's tom quayle? He should be on the list
You'll like this: czcams.com/video/RCgYni30ZC8/video.html
Tom Quayle???
We can't include everyone! And I am sure if we do another fusion episode, he'll be all over it.
On Tom though, right now out Jam of the Month group is being judged by him: bit.ly/JOTMFB
AND! If you keep your eyes peeled we have a few more things Tom lined up for the next few weeks.
Oh and this: czcams.com/video/RCgYni30ZC8/video.html
donde esta MARCO SFOGGLY el mejor de todos
"Sextuplets"
Who really got a own style like vai Paul Gilbert Eric Johnson EVH ? Which one you can recognize with eyes close like SRV Hendrix Santana allan holdsworth gambale etc? Who can do a video of it ? Random a quiz with guitar players about fusion stars?
I'm sure someone can, and they're all of course great. But this is about JTC players. Think we'll make that clearer next time! Hope you liked it either way.
JTC Guitar I
Love gottardo ,govan ,Neri and a lot of them .I really admire the technique and de evolution of guitar players etc I will listen more carefully but before was more easily what happened ?perhaps before the instrument was more new? Why vai doesn't sound like Gilbert , Vito ,EVH etc Allan holdsworth from Howe ,benson is so different from joe pass I don't know really what happened even Jason Becker and Marty , mustaine and Kirk slash all of them different styles techniques etc what do you think? Thanks for answering
Well, Im from the days when guitar fusion where Holswoth, Gambale, Henderson, Sco, Stern and so many other musicians that not only play there ass off, they have a unique voice and good songs. And the most important: fusion is not about technic (this video is) fusion is about mixing styles, like jazz information with a rock sound.
Those guys can all rip with killer technique too. If you've listened a lot to the players they're listing here, they all have unique voices as well.
Okay Boomer
hear me out... i am at 2:40 and so far i get the impression that very mechanical playing for you guys = great music. is the rest of the guitarists here the same? you can like what you want, but not much else but chops=virtuosity-minus-autheniticity=buffoon sports music is your thing, then count me out.
guthrie can do these all 😂
but alex, feodor and jake wilson. oh cmon! and hey! martin miller was using the suhr?
Is it just me feeling the cable pull off from the Amp is a little bit sexual?Just sayin
I think it's just you but thanks for sharing! 😂
Ahahahahah 😂
I love all these guys (and others) but 9 minutes to showcase 10 players and a host who got more air time than any one of the players? This video was too short and had too many players. If this video was 30 minutes with only 5 players you could make 20 of these videos and come closer to showing what they can really do. You're certainly on the right track though. Thanks
All amazing guitarists but you're focusing too much on shredders, Fusion isn't just about playing fast...
Wow. This is quite possibly the most annoying thing ever. I've got to add some of these things to my guitar study!🎸🎶
Does that mean you liked it or not?! 😕
Forgot Gus Drax and Brandon Ellis....
Neither of which are on our roster! But great players and thanks for dropping by.
Sorry don't mean to be rude, but I didn't like this video, I don't find this informative or entertaining to name guitar players and point out the obvious such as sweep picking, alternate picking pinch harmonics etc... I would even pay for a video that analysis what they are playing for example:
Here the chord is E-9 he bends from 9th to 3rd so he is targeting chord tone, and moves up and using extensions... and as such.
Maybe this is not relevant to the title of the video and your are just dropping some names and creating a list, but there are so many of these lists on the internet and I don't find them interesting at all.
P.S I didn't dislike the video I'm just sharing what I think since the pinned comment asked for what we think.
Not rude at all! We asked for feedback and you gave us some. This is always going to be about balance and we'll keep tweaking it! First episode after all, so we need feedback like yours. Cheers, Tristan.
And I should add that our next video is probably more what you are after! We're going FULL on the detail.
@@JTCGuitar Thank you for your response, I'm looking forward to the next episode.
Some of them arent fusion.
Admittedly, these people are amazing technical players...Butt...IMHO too many of them are sounding too much alike without any distinction. Blindfold test and you'll get my point.
You have to consider this, though: In this context we're making stuff for other people to learn. There's a 'crossing of the streams' thing going on :) In other endeavours, personal style can come forward.
I think Jake summed it up nicely there, but to me I can for sure hear a difference, as well as similarities; but that's not a bad thing really. Music is a big intertwined ball after all! Hope you enjoyed it either way!
Cringe AF host, ugh.
Ah man! We (I) thought he (I) did well! But first episode and I'm sure he (I) will get better!
@@JTCGuitar Dig the positivity, maybe have him tone down the acting and just exist like a human being. +
@@alwolf2325 we'll (I'll) bear it in mind!
@@JTCGuitar Yeah, just be natural. I get that you wanna "bring it" but it will hit harder if it's genuine. Rock on.
@@JTCGuitar Keep being funny. I liked it
these guys get no points for repeating shapes/ideas quickly.
its just noise.
Amazing guitar technicians, but they're lousy composers, there's no logical melody structures, just guitarists trying to impress people with speed, that's not music in my opinion, that's more like guitar technique demonstrations, its a great pity that they don't focus also on music composition otherwise they would be mind-blowers, atm they seem pretty boring without any musical melodic rationale, just Kaos to be brutally honest
thats fusion buddy.not everyone likes it.All of these people play melodically.its just that this video picked some shred examples to show their techniques.
Listen to Luca Mantovanellis multiversum.Sunflower fields.Thats melody for ya :)
