I was finally able to get my hands on the NEW Yugioh Speed Duel GX: Duel Academy Box! This box is really cool and have enough cards for 8 people to play. It also includes Elemental Hero, Cyber Dragon, Destiny Hero, Crystal Beast, Cyber Angel, Ancient Gear, Ojama, and Volcanic!

I stopped playing when links became a thing and switched to mtg but I never miss your videos. The original yugioh and gx were my favorites
You should try and get back in. I stopped playing a bit after links came out but that was mostly due to the pandemic. After getting back in the game and finding out that fusions, xyz's and synchros can go anywhere on the main monster field and don't have to be in the extra monster zone or where a link points to was great to find out and I've been enjoying the game since coming back.

@@-Yu_Tsugami nothing wrong with playing with yourself my dude! I used to do that and use my imagination as a kid. And I still do sometimes with mtg, as I'm way too anxious to go to a store full of people and start playing 😅

GX is my favorite Yugioh show so this is a must-by for me! What I love about Speed Duel physical products (and what I hope they continue to do in the future) is give us reprints or imports of the normal monsters we never got. There are still so many stupidly hard ones to collect and it shouldn't be that way so here's hoping!
The only problem I have with this set is that there’s no Neo-Spacian cards, no support for Elemental Hero Neos or any of the Neo-Space Fusion monsters in it.
Yeah, that’s a real shame.
Maybe Konami will release structure decks for other deck that were not included in the main box like how they did for the battle city box, I just hope they do that or release a box 2 since I would like to see decks for syrus, baston, hassleberry, banner, chumley, Jim, sartorius, viper, and possibly a deck for viper or a physical deck for yubel, sheppard, and Atticus
I also wanted to see elemental hero tempest since that is my all time favorite card from gx era
Another Jaden deck is coming in the Midterm Paradox Deck iirc so we might get Neo Spacians (alongside Paradox Bros, Bastion and Syrus).
And no reprint of air neos 😭

This Speed Duel box is probably a contender for product of the year. It's an underrated format and super enjoyable to play. Highly recommend it to anyone. 😈🤘

I bought the Battle City and GX boxes yesterday and had a blast taking out all of the hyper specific stuff and drafting out cards at random! we had more fun doing that than we have playing modern Yugioh for a long time! Definitely just a change of pace rather than a permanent thing though. Even if I'm crazy for it I love modern Yugioh!
This product is definitely a great one especially with the secret rare upgrades to dasher and ancient gear golem. The promo pack is the most exciting part of these speed duel boxes

Going to get the box in 3 weeks thanks to Amazon. I'm excited.
One sad thing... they didn't give us Shining Flare Wingman (we were PROMISED) and I wanted it since everyone has an ace but not SHINING FLARE for JADEN?! Also no Air Neos SIGH, maybe next time
I want a 5d's box just to get the Signer Dragons, Zexal for stuff, Arc-V because and Vrains BECAUSE.
The secret rares in this set are pretty high quality and dasher is nice to see again

Speed Duel set are good for nostalgia and for older/returning players, but I hope someday we will get Rush Duel too. I played it video game and it's very refreshing game, more than Speed Duel and Sevens anime is amazing too.

I actually got it to build an Ojama deck and a volcanic deck not just for speed duels but regular duels as well.
Is 2 copies of the set enough to make the anime decks or would I need 3
@@garenthal9638 I think that it depends on whether it is a speed duel deck or a regular deck.
kinda wish they would redo the orgional shows and have it a bit more updated would be cool to see what kinda duels they could do with the updated cards for each archtype

It's probably in numerical order. I would also want them to make legendary decks for jaden and yusei. Kind of what they did for yugi.

@@oscaraburto3341 the structure deck synchron extreme is literally yuseis deck minus nitro warrior and stardust.
@@garenthal9638 it's just support to add to your deck. While it's still an effective deck, it does nothing for your stardust dragon cards. Don't get me wrong, I love that deck and bought 3 of them. Nonetheless I would like to have his deck in the same treatment of yugis legendary decks. Everyone would.

Speed Duels is the future of enjoyable yugioh. It's a better goat format at this point.

Unfortunately there is no reason to run Ancient Gear over Spell Proof Armor.
It's an awesome product but there are a lot of legacy characters that need to be featured in these speed duel products, from Duel Monsters (Waking The Dragons and Virtual World arc) and GX (Dinos, Red Eyes and other monsters).
I'm seeing this as just a fun thing to do and play with lil shit around decks lol change up yhr flavor of what I run for competitive stuff

I dont see why they have to say speed duel on them. It's just a different format of playing the game with all the same cards except the skill cards. The speed duel is just an eye sore to me and I can't bring myself to purchase these cards.
