Quick question. Is there a setting to turn off the beeping noise everytime you click something?
@@bardiafazeli1677 Yes there is. I believe it’s called “beep tone” in the settings. You can turn it on/off.
Daniel - 2 questions for you
1 - Can you change the icons (set the home screen to have just what you want on it ?)
2 - Can you install other apps (specifically - torque)
You say 07-17 but the website only makes them for 2010 and up... I have a 09 will that not work?
The hazard button assembly also has a ribbon cable on the right (I suppose for the indicators...?) which goes to the button pcb assembly above... Where do you plug this after? Thank you for the video!
How's the mic? Mine is garbage and looking if there ways to make it sound better
Honestly the mic sucks. After reading this comment I tested it & it’s terrible. I recommend buying a replacement pioneer headunit mic & just replacing the idoing one. I contacted idoing about the mic issue, just waiting for a response.
What you do with the usb cables like were they go after you put the in the glove department?

ive put it in my 2009 lancer evo but mine is RHD and the headunit is set at LHD interface, do you know how to change it???
So what options would I get for my 2012 Ralliart, it doesn’t have an oem backup camera but I plan to add one later on. It came 2nd owner so it already has a pioneer head unit but none of the steering wheel controls work along with it not having CarPlay.

I contacted Idoing to correct the vehicle year range on their website because you are correct, it is wrong. They only have one other headunit for Lancer's on their website & it's for the old body style. You can go on their website & compare the dash photo's to your vehicle if you would like to verify.

Does the head unit ever overheat from the sun?
The bit that changed at 8:24 to 8:25 (green backing) is that some sort of circuit that you added to it?
Can you make Apple CarPlay pop up at start up?
Did the double din dash adapter come with the touchscreen. Can’t really tell on their website.

This head unit has a built-in mic. You mentioned in a comment that the mic is bad. Do you mean the built-in mic?

what's your take on the head unit built-in mic? is it that bad that it needs an external microphone?
I actually didn’t know it had a built in mic. The external mic is terrible. Maybe the audio will be better using the internal mic. I will try it out!

Yea, it has a built-in Mic, I read it in the description and also at the top left corner, it says Mic... If you say that the external microphone is terrible, it may be causing some interference with the built-in one. Please keep us posted on that audio quality, I am thinking to get the full version one with all the 360 Degrees cameras... going all in with this unit lol
Does this new head unit support the Rockford Fosgate sound system?

The website is confusing. Which Canbus cable do you need to buy for the Rockford sound system? They sell three different ones and none mention the Lancer.

Yes you can. I was unaware at the time, but these units actually have built in mic’s.

I don’t have sound ….😢why?????when I connect this small red box the car shows me check…..
If you dont have sound, its because you didnt get a canbus. You need it for a rockford fosgate system.
Save yourself the hassle and trouble and stay away from this company.
- They ship incomplete products. (connector for reverse cam was missing)
- They do not honour the warranty they claim to give you.
- Their costumer support is flat out incompetent/fraudulent
I have been trying to get them to replace the missing connector for 2 weeks. But all i got from them was a lot of questions and requests for fotos in order for customer protection to expire. And then they told me to buy a 35USD CAN-Bus adapter from them in order to fix their own scew-up. (and that even though my car does not even have CAN connection to the headunit)
In short: worthless criminal shit-company
