White NF represents hope. NF in black clothes represents when he is overrun by his burdens. In this video he talks about his anxiety when he performs, and you’ll hear him talk about other burdens in this album. The black balloons represent his burdens. The people in white represent people that are also “searching”. They also have balloons.

i remember when NF released this album. this was on repeat for me for at least a week lol. NF is one of those people who is VERY talented and uses his talents to channel his emotions. and i believe thats why his songs always hit hard!

The people in white are pretty much a mystery, you'll see them quite often through the music videos for this album. One theory is that they were people like him once, wearing all black and carrying their burdens with them until they found God/hope and traded in their black for white. Also he's looking for the map to hope at the end of the music video which can be seen in the music video for Hope. Hope represents white/his happiness/ better version of himself.

My own personal interpretation of this video is the black balloons are his problems and his issues( emotional, physical, physiological, financial, social) he is carrying around trying to move on from and he is pushing along in life trying to manage through yet he cant shake his issues. To me the people in white coats represent the people that have given into their illness and problems and become totally insane or had a breakdown. At the end the weight of the problems he has because to much for him so he just breaks down himself and given into his issues and crawls into a ball a psychiatrist nurse comes a long and throws him a straight jacket cause now he is part of the mental crew. He didnt have to break down because God had him on a beautiful path and he didn't realize it. He could'nt see the beauty around him because of his problems. Right now im fighting cancer and this song gets me hyped and is a motivation
NF albums are like parts of his cinematic universe.... Everything is connected both musically and visually‼️❤️. MCU like!

By the third or fourth song it gets really deep and sad but it’s really good in my opinion this is his darkest album also after the search album you should do therapy session it has a really good song about god called oh lord on it.

The last person in white that met NF at the cart had NO balloons...
(only example in all the videos of zero burdens carried) a Christ-like
figure perhaps? Meeting you where you are after having done all...
As we hear Him in the stillness and the waiting... leaving a message
of HOPE in the cart for Nate to ponder if he wants to accept this free gift
or will he need more trust going forward in his SEARCH for 'real' answers?
So much symblism to give others to meet them where they are...
