I love your videos and the idea of smart home . I have one issue that i really think you have an answer that i don't know .
I bought about 20 smart items (bulbs, switches, etc) my problem is that if i want to change different wifi company or even change the wifi i will have to reset 20 items one by one which is Very annoying. Am i doing something wrong ? Or is it because i buy from different companies (some i bought from ali expess )?
I want a selution where i change one and hopa all changed automatically. Thanks

Thank you! For restarting your devices, are you referring to the WiFi Router? All your devices should be connected to your router. If you change WiFi routers than yes, you have to reconnect all the devices to the network. Yes, this can be very tedious. You shouldn't be changing WiFi Routers very often though. I am actually working on a video around WiFi Routers right now that will release Saturday.
      Does that answer your question?

Tried the presence sensor on my Echo 4 and it failed miserably. Kept turning off the lights even though someone was in the room. As for lights and switches? I was using LifX (garbage), then switched to Philips Hue and Lutron switches to control them and have recently started to go with Wiz bulbs (both Hue and Wiz work beautifully, but Wiz doesn't require a bridge)

I have struggled with Hue due to price. Oddly enough, I have actually enjoyed Tuya products. I do run Home Assistant though and I have set it up with Local Tuya to remove cloud connection. When I press give a voice command or use the app it happens as quickly as if I press the physical button. I am still working on the Presence Sensor, I have one and have found flaws in it. It definitely works better in large open areas. Otherwise you need multiple and at $80/ea, it gets to be a lot. I have seen them on sale for $65.

Can you use both Alexa and Siri with the same devices?

Generally yes. There are a lot of devices that work with Alexa, but not HomeKit (Siri). You’d have to set up the devices on both platforms.
