So hopefully this helps as well. I went through everything but the fix for me was switch the setting on the app to Bluetooth and connect as he said. mine got switched to wifi and I have a password for another wifi device that I use for work that demands a password. Switched from wifi to bluetooth and hit the connect icon and now it works.
Thanks, you saved me at least another 1/2 hour of frustration! I found this video while I was waiting for the app to install on my old phone. Once bluetooth connected it still wouldn't load the parameters. I updated the firmware in the app and it still wouldn't load. Did another reset on the device and powered it and my phone off and on and it finally worked! What a pain in the ass.
i was able to get it initially connected to my samsung phone and it updated the esc firmware. but it won't let me access any esc settings/parameters. getting so frustrated.
