I’m Dutch and I was non-religious before. Never heard of David Phelps. One day I Googled" ‘Best male voices in the world.’ David ranked in the top 3. It has been one year or so since I started listening to David’s music. Can’t listen to anything else now and found a well of the most amazing, comforting music. He even brought me back to my faith. Thank you for this song.
This is a David original. He wrote the song as a tribute to his beloved sister, who passed away in 2012. He was very close to her. She toured with him and was very close with David’s wife, Lori, as well. Her passing was hard in him as well as the entire family.
David's voice is a sense of comfort during very very hard times!
This song puts me to tears , when i think of how its rough here on earth but the hope that's beautifully outlined helps me carry on knowing one day we'll meet those we held dearest to our hearts but lost ... David you inspire so many of us with such beautiful renditions that ennoble us to Heaves shore surely we'll press on !!!!
Glory to God!!!! That is what David does--brings glory to God--every time he sings!!! God gave him an incredible voice and way of communicating a song & he uses it all for the glory of his God and Jesus --his Savior!!! How blessed we are to enjoy his singing!!!
So very beautiful. I may not understand why this war, but, I do know that God is in control of all of this and I can surround myself with this music, and all is well with my soul. This music gives me peace and I WILL SEE MY HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER someday for sure.

Bittersweet. I lost my beloved last year and looking forward to embrace him again in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ who loved us first so we can learn to love as He does..... Till then, our joy will be complete on Heaven's shore!!!

Heaven's Shore is so dear to me. My son died 1 year ago. He was a youth pastor and he loved the Lord, I to have Jesus in my heart and now I look with joy to seeing my son again
