This has got to be the best thing to do from your own home! So much fun, what did you think?!
:3 First reply. Hehe.
Thank you so much sir
TEG has stellar quality online and in person!
Bruh chain
We need more of these, escape room concept with more than 1 hour video duration 👀👍
When Chris was telling her where to put the planks in and said “to the left” and She responded with “take it back now y’all” nobody laughed…but I felt that
i actually was laughing at that part. i normally watch the vid, write notes on what to post, then read comments forr my thoughts. also i just was told [CZcams separate recommended with subscribed on our home. i miss vids cause of this]. i heard the "take it back now" and cracked up.
BTW anyone else feel the magic trick WAS MISSING?
1 of the guys did a quiet little appreciation noise... but he was busy trying to not interrupt the solve part
I definitely had a laugh here in my bedroom. "You might be a Millenial if..." LOL
I think I'm stupid. Whats the time stamp and what was the joke? Is it referencing Beyonce's song?
@@roughryder5 22:34
I am in awe at the construction of the actual game...the sets, the moving parts....must have taken weeks or months to construct.
Great stuff!
For real! The level of detail and sequences were amazing.
Are most escape rooms like this? I’ve never done one but I’ve always wanted to. Especially if I can do one like this. 🤩
x unfortunately most escape rooms aren't quite this amazing, but there are a lot of incredible ones out there (and a decent amount that surpass this one). But there is a lot of crap rooms where people just throw a few props in an office space. Best bet is to seek out reviews from enthusiasts (and not Yelp or Trip Advisor) to get the best idea of a room's quality.
It's a good idea, especially with Covid Restrictions, but now your "Local Escape" game can be anywhere...
Although you need Saints working it, having multiple frustrated / excited people shouting contradictory orders at you sounds like Hell.
might have actually taken them a year or so
Would happily see more of these… and you guys doing real life escape rooms too!
I find it kinda funny that Chris keeps referring to the guide as an NPC. She's doing whatever you ask, she seems very playable to me
I never seen three guys having so much trouble figuring out the difference between left and right... Hilarious! Thanks guys for doing this 😂😂😂
I like how this was an actual person going through the room instead of just some 2d drawings and stuff like the previous one you guys did.
That spidey guy made me really mad he was super annoying you should do one of these by yourself I’d love to watch you solving one without any interruptions
The second room, once solved, was incredible! The way everything moved - I want to do this room in person so I ca feel like a real-life Indiana Jones! What a fantastic construction and design job. (I run a mobile escape room business where I set up in people's homes or offices, and I can only DREAM of creating rooms as cool as this!)
I feel like at times there was a lot of confusion caused by too many people trying to do a task at the same time lol.
I don’t think it helped that the spider dude whatever his name is kept interrupting them and shouting things out 1- cos he thought he was always right 2-cos he always wanted 2 b the first one at things and trying 2 solve them and then 3-always trying 2 get 2 far ahead b4 actually solving the puzzles in order. Sorry 2 Chris and Wes but I didn’t like the other dude. He wouldn’t let Wes speak at one point and at the start was always trying 2 say he was wrong on most things. In the end it sounded like he got it and quietened down and actually listened and let other people speak. Just my opinion obviously
@@switswoo251 yeh I didn’t like him either
It was an amazing experience that was elevated by the performance of the captain at the beginning.
Congrats to the team behind it for the stunning work and unbelievable details they put into this.
What an incredible set, the time and effort put in to create these masterpieces must be astronomical. I'm sure the people responsible for the mechanics of these are holding their breath on every single action hoping everything seamlessly works in conjuction.
I've actually worked on making some escape rooms, and you're not wrong. Luckily, a lot of these mechanics are tested in workshops before being brought to the rooms, and in general, each mechanism works separately from the rest and are controlled by a central computer. As long as the computer is working and there are no motor failures, it's actually really simple logic to get it to work. The testing and theming is a different story, though, and definitely takes a majority of the time commitment in building a room. And even better, if a switch doesn't work on the player side, there are failsafes in the back that the game master can manually activate to get the mechanism working without the players really knowing any better. Most escape rooms are incredibly well-oiled machines with few major failures, and to me, that's what makes each one a beautiful work of art.
@@pre4edgc Thanks for elaborating. There were parts in this video where I suspected somebody was just watching to see when certain things lined up, to manually trigger the mechanisms to work. Such as the spinning hieroglyphs, which didn't seem to have any traction (which would indicate the actual mechanics grinding in the background). It does seem that is the case from your explanation. This, luckily, doesn't take away from the immersion of these rooms and still is equally as beautiful. It would be an intricate thing for it to all work in unison though, as opposed to individual parts.
@@pre4edgc your awesome and if you ever need an artist or fine work done on detail give me a shout
@@PaulBunyun I'm willing to bet that room was 100% run by a computer. Those spinning hieroglyphs were initially locked, you could use a solenoid lock to keep those in place. Then once they're ready to be used, you have a potentiometer reading the orientation of each. The person who was there giving clues probably also had access to a button for each prop, so if something did go wrong she could trigger it.
@@greenpeppers1401 I'm sure that's correct, but it takes little away from how impressive this truly is. Even with it all being automated and controlled by computers with people carefully watching in the background, it's rather cool that they managed to set up something so complex.
This was so much fun! Had a real blast! 🤗
Perhaps next time don’t joke quite so much though? Only because the NPC would take everything you said seriously lol. 😅
@@LoveRemains hell no! Lol those were the best parts “try every combination. Well wait” I died 😂
@@LoveRemains I agree totally making not funny jokes doesn't help and slows down the game confusing the "NPC".
This dude ruined the experience quite a bit. A bit self obsessed and over confident. Not to mention the fact that none of his "humor" was actually humorous. You can tell how Wes and Chris just ignored his crap.
@@alrichdesa9348 I couldn’t disagree more. I find him entertaining and thought he contributed quite a lot to the solve. They all did great. Loved this video.
Amazing concept and fantastic room, but the guy overanalyzing the poor NPCs behavior at the beginning was a bit rude. Its not part of the game, she's doing her best with new covid solution and just wants to help the players enjoy and solve the puzzles; not being brought into the picture as a person, let alone having words put into her mouth. This made me feel so sorry and anxious to watch at the beginning. Much love to you, NPC! Good job for staying so positive!
Yeh I agree, they were quite rude to her at some point like she’s not a real npc she’s a person
Leave it to a mentalist to give himself props when he points out something completely obvious.
Right? Jane would not be impressed.
For real!
In the nicest way possible, I find it very irritating when he speaks lol
@@ambermarie7531 agreed big time
@@ambermarie7531 he was pretty rude to the girl doing all the work and trying to make pointless jokes and bring up pointless stuff that just killed off time. They could have done it faster without him lol
The best part was Captain Mac! Love when there's a story with a crazy side character 🤣
I still don't understand what was missing how macs was it in the lock . I thought he said mask
I can’t imagine being the guide. I would get so overwhelmed 😂😂
Nah you would be great jungle guide, just acting skills are needed to play like you don't know anything
It’s not really cause we know these games like the back of our hands. We have to reset them back so that people who want to play that game in person can do so after a virtual play. The only hard part is not revealing the answers to you all on accident 🥴😂
Yeh they were being really pushy like chilllll
You get to where it doesn't really overwhelm you, because you are super familiar with the room, and know how to guide people and get them to focus.
Some real Legends of the Hidden Temple vibes in this escape room. Loved that show.
Yo, shoutout to the lady who was doing the stuff. I was hoping she wasn’t gonna act like a robot. She was funny and engaging.
Honestly, i love the idea and concept. I guess the only issue was like multiple people talking all at once. But the staff who was working did a great job with that. Lastly, there is the issue with technology. Other then that, i was hooked watching this.
YES. The screaming.
They did realize they had mics on, right?
You get used to watching more than listening because you know what should be being done. This is a bit different than GMing a normal escape room tho, but people do shout because they get super excited. It's only a bit annoying when it's like 11 little kids, because they do not understand volume regulation and they're just destructive lol
This is a good way to do a covid escape room or for distant friends etc... Well done, great rooms and electronics / decorations.
You absolutely have to come to Nashville and try these in person! We live here and go to escape games anytime we can! The Depths is also a great one!
She's not an NPC. NPC stands for 'no-playable-character'. You are clearly playing as that person.....
It’s a pc
Player charecter
Enjoy chilling while watching Chris’ puzzle vids, and this looked like good fun. Admittedly had to stop after a while though as found that Spidey bloke a bit much. Perhaps just Chris and Wes for the next one 👍
I feel like there was a lot of awkward tension between Spidey and Wes... Chris seemed to be playing the diplomat very well.
They need to avoid inviting that Spidey dude. He's too self obsessed.
I don’t know. I think wes and spidey play that way for the camera. They’ve been friends for a long time. And if you watch their collab on wes’ channel you can tell there’s a lot of mutual respect. I think you guys are being a little harsh, to me he just seems really excited. I thought everyone did a great job.
@Latest Obsession ha. It’s ironic what you said about working in front of people. Spidey does a lot more live shows than Ramsay. Hes a touring performer. CZcams is his side thing. But I think that’s exactly the reason he has a hard time sharing the spotlight. If you’re used to being alone on stage I guess it can result in that. Ramsey and Wes have worked together alot so they’ve had time to develop a natural rythm. It’s hard to know how I would be in a situation like this. I would be eager to help I think.
That really was pretty intense. You guys didn't use any clues and were pretty much going straight through without hiccups (well, there were some cuts)... That much have been a high difficulty escape room! Definitely must be a crazy one to do in person. Awesome!
That was really over the top guys! I'd still be trying to figure out how to get out of the first room when the time expired! Nice work & would welcome more of these Chris. Not quite like being in a real room though but really entertaining nonetheless! 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
This was awesome! This is what I wanted the temple run game to be lol…you guys kick ass at these 😊
Having done The Ruins, watching this and seeing how extremely different the order in which you solved the puzzles was compared to my playthrough is really interesting. and which things were intuitive to me that took a few tries for you and vice versa.
It's also interesting to see what they added and what they cut out for the zoom version of the room as compared to what you actually need to do in the room in person.
Could also be a different location as well, The Escape Game is a chain and they repeat rooms and may have slightly different buildouts depending on their spaces.
I'm bouncing between this and Shatner's launch...they have it on hold...the suspense from both is intense...😲
I was doing the same thing lol
KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHNNNNN!!!!
Wes watching the video clip like a child made my day. 😂
I wonder if the "NPC" is an employee, or someone who pays to be the NPC... I have to imagine doing the same escape over and over would get annoying, and playing dumb time after time rather difficult.
I'd say an employee since as Spidey said some of her actions/tones gave a clue they were on right track.
@@Nobody-un2yp spidey making those inferences was annoying and unnecessary. Especially when he begged in a loud fashion for everyone to “listen to me” over and over throughout the experience. Pretty self obsessed and controlling
Yeah she subtly helped them a bunch...she neon signed the pressure plates
Yeah, I like watching you and Wes doing the puzzle things. More than that and everyone gets tied up and clustered with cross talk ideas. It was a great video though.
Was screaming at my TV at the spinning head part! Ha "they are each looking left or right in the picture! Has nothing to do with which panel they're on!" LOL that looked like a blast
Spidey says "NO HINTS!", you guys got plenty of subtle hints no need to lie. Ha! This was a very well made Escape Room... Honestly the best I have ever seen.
I actually agree that there were a few things she said but I feel it was more things that we would have easily seen if we were actually in the room. What I meant is; we didn’t ask for any hints because we were stuck.
@@SpideyHypnosis No, I get ya Spidey! I was just playing around man! Like your content by the way! The last Escape Room me and my girlfriend went to we got subtle hints from the Game Keepers to. So, please don't feel like I was talking down in anyway, you all did great at the room, and I was really just playing! Cheers Bro! Have a great day!
I love these videos. It’s so much fun trying to figure out the puzzles with you all and coming along for the ride.
We need more!
i actually played this game in person! It was soo much fun!!!
Can't watch more than 15 minutes right now... Captain Kirk is being launched to space...I will be back to finish! 😁👍
53:00 hes awesome! i loved his acting!
3:38 'Uh oh, somethings about to go down.' Quite literally 🤣
For my birthday previous week, I got an online puzzle that we did, me and my brothers, and it was amazing. It didn't involve a live experience like this but now I really want to do one of these as well! Such a cool video and follow-along experience! Thank you Chris!
That looked like it was a blast. Props to Chris for trying to make sure that each guy get to solve a little bit of it. I don't think that the yelling over each other helped much though. I'd definitely watch more or Chris and Wes!!!
That guy was hilarious. "I'd have like 3 treasures!" 🤣🤣
What Chris should do is a fundraiser for a charity of his choice or for a magician school. Top donates should get a chance at joining him to do a real escape room, recorded live on his channel! That would be awesome fan support.
Anybody else notice that solider placard 1 showed which directions the arrows should be?
I love this company. I've traveled a lot and done escape rooms all over. These guys are one of the best!! I've done every room they have!
Epic NPC man from Viva la dirt league promotes kindness to NPCs as well. 😊
That "jungle scout" gets to "play" in a very cool looking room. This one, imo, looks cooler (because it's more exotic) and the art thief office from last time.
That was so cool and so much fun. Love Cptn Mac, he really played his part well. And it was great seeing the three of you solve the escape room, you had me laughing my a** off for the whole adventure. Thanks for sharing the adventure with all of us.
Amazing stuff. Seeing you and your friends having fun is great. Also props to the company doing those escape rooms.
That was real fun. A lot of puzzles and high production value. Good stuff. Think I might see if I have any interested friends. Thanks Chris
I always love getting done from a busy Wednesday and getting to relax to your new video. Since I binged all the older ones.
Best escape room I seen so far on the interwebs. Thx Chris for taking us with you.
'Where am I?'
'You're in a room.'
Ultimate escape room from the 1980s :D
The best content in the game. Thanks for leading us through this one! It was like I was there with you
This was so awesome! It looks like an absolute blast. Extremely well done.
I get there was a time limit but you were kinda rude to the employee playing the npc at times.
This was a great fun watch. Please keep doing these on your list of things to do. Very fun! Thank you
that was really amazing good job fellas for completing and working together to get it done well played *cheers*
Chris: Uh oh! Something's about to go down.
Me: yes, that would be the plane.
I love these rooms, and it's cool seeing others do it! Please keep making these!
What a awesome concept!!! Virtual escape room!!!!!
These are super cool! I would totally love you to make more of these! Great job!
Did one of those with Puzzle Guy. It's one of the best things you can do from home!
Spidey was perfect. The guys were well balanced with their skill sets for this.
Agreed! It all came together so well.
Great video as always. Been watching for a while now and your content have reignited my interest for puzzles. I recently started working for a escape room company in Stockholm, one of the reasons for searching that job being that reignited interest. The room you played is super impressive, mechanically and design, and nice job by the scout and host.
Hey this fun and cool
Best episode ever, (in my opinion), go to do another soon? :)
This was really cool. I liked the energy the people had doing it. For sure made that a better experience
That was really cool👍 So much more involved than I expected!
Does wes have a 2nd sign to make fun of Chris's 1st.shop? That's great
These are super fun, you should do more!!!
WOW. Awesome!!! Let's do that again. But you 3 in the puzzle! 10 / 10
Puzzles aren’t enough for this madman, soon he’s gonna be renting a multi floor building
Love the escape room vids! So unique and something I didn't know one could do until I watched the other vid
Yay, thank you!
That was really fun! I should talk my bf and my bestie into doing one with me; I bet they'd both love it!
I love these. Makes me miss escape rooms an I think I might need to make a booking!
I love when you do escape rooms online! It’s the best!
this was great, but you definitly need to give each other roles, as on multiple occasions spidey would almost derail clue finding to look at 1 specific clue. and also talk over people which causes bad communication with team members aswell as the person in the escape room itself
This is so cool!! I like the whole "real person" sort of avatar doing the puzzles, though I've gotta say it seems like it'd be overwhelming to be in her position with all these competitive, overly-excited dudes yelling different directions at her the whole time! 😳 At the beginning I thought, "I'd like to do her job!" But all I did was _watch_ and I'm already stressed out! 😜😂 She's a great sport though and I'd love to take on one of these virtual escape rooms with my bff! Looks like a really awesome "socially distanced" activity for some bonding time with your friends! I didn't even know such a thing existed but I'm glad I do now! Totally wicked video!
Used to work for this company as one of the people inside the room during virtual escape rooms. Highly recommend playing a virtual room or a game at any of their locations.
Awesome. You should do more escape rooms.
thanks chris ramsay for showing me this... i did a 9/10 escape room just now with 2 people we had 3 mins left to spare, and escaped.. was sooo much fun, im just glad being in australia didnt stop us from using thier facilities.. thanks for the idea...
This was great, please please please do more of these. 🙏🏻
Kudos to the Guide!
Can't wait till these dudes can do this irl
We did an art heist room with this company, we were pretty stoked when we solved it.
OMGGG !!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE ESCAPE ROOMS !! Yes, I first saw the Other one ya did with your friends, loved it so much !! :D
That was awesome, exciting, wish I would have watched it on a large screen
Очень интересный квест, разгадать все загадки и отыскать сокровище 💎, в древней пещере и найти выход. Спасибо 🙏 вам огромное, было очень интересно и увлекательно, вы супер 👍👍👍 молодцы и главная героиня тоже. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I would love to see yall do one of these in person but great job a really enjoyable vidoe
Way more entertaining than I thought
WOAH NO WAY!!!
This poor girl was probably trying hard AF not to shake her head in annoyance.....with that camera on her head. Ramsey was kinda rude multiple times.
Oooh, they have a lot more on their website. I hope you do these too
Awesome, I loved both the escape rooms
Seen other puzzle guys but nothing compares to your videos for me. Its fun, engaging and mesmerizing to watch. The amount of work you put in to keep us engaged deserves respect and credit on its own. Keep going, keep entertaining us. You have a special place in my heart!
Chris Did you manage to solve that mini well puzzle or Will it be a part 2
That was fun to watch.
They should make a VR game of these things. That would be the best thing ever
The Room VR is as close as I've ever found. :)
omggggg thats fire. 🔥🔥🔥 i wanna experience some kind of room escape.. ❤️
