Bro I would strongly suggest that you look up private properties and DUIs because multiple people have already one major lawsuits because of it.
You cannot arrest someone on private property even if they are 100% drunk and driving around in their own yard it is private property you have absolutely no authority on private property I can be as drunk driving my vehicle on my private property all I want.
My private property doesn't have laws unless I make the law.

@ma... My son lives in Florida and was stopped for some check or other when the officer claimed he smelled marijuana. My son immediately produced his medical marijuana card. At that point, the ticket for whatever it was should have been written and everybody moves along. However, officer proceeds to search the vehicle and write up charges. This has gone to court almost every month for over a year and is just now getting to whether this was illegal search. It's like torture. Even released on your own recognizance, this hangs over his head and he never knows when he goes to court if he'll come home. Getting another job is almost impossible and if you get probation in Florida you're required to do all sorts of stuff that you have to pay for. It really is like torture.
In another case for a small amount of marijuana, he had probation. He lived almost on county line and had a job he could walk to in 10-15 minutes at the County humane society. They made him quit his job because probation required he work in county he lived in. So then he had no way to pay for probation and couldn't find a job especially since many Florida counties have very little public transportation. Now in Florida, they are charging inmates for their prison cells even if they aren't using them. If you were sentenced to 5 years and released after 2, you might get a bill for the cell for all 5 years. Maybe 3 people get a bill for the same cell at one time. That can't be legal. The system is insane!
A person can lose their lives over window tint in the land of fines and fees.

The bigger problem is that the judges who oversee the prosecution hearings never changes the police officers for obstruction of justice. When they make up a false report, it is absolutely 100% obstruction of justice. Let alone the fact that they were held in jail for a period of time forced into restraints, and assaulted by multiple officers, the judge residing over the case has the power to charge them with the crime. They just don't.....😢

You make it sound so simple when you put it like that. Thing is, lawsuits aren't free. They cost money, and take time, which is also more money. The courts can delay lawsuits for years.

This happened to me in Georgia. I had my car 2 years in the same predominantly black neighborhood, but the day the sun was shining 🌟 and my car had been detailed....my tiny is too dark. I cried because instead of just giving me a ticket, the young black male officer was provoking me with condescending comments as if I'm not a respectable citizen because of tinted windows. He said I got a warning, made me sign, but didn't give me a copy of the warning. I was so pissed and still plan to file a grievance

The screwed up part is a functioning society need law enforcement, but law enforcement refuse to be held accountable to the same standards as society. I am 45 years old and I have never met a law-abiding police officer nor have i ever heard of one. All cops believe they are above the law, and the chain of command that their supposed to answer to do everything possible to protect them. Same with IA, city attorneys, AG's, etc.

The cop is demanding Drivers License, Insurance, and Registration without explaining why he is wanting the information. The man leans into the car to grab his phone which he is allowed to do. The cop arrest him. The girl gets in the car and is not given time to see if she is getting her ID and documents the officer asked for and the cop starts screaming get out of the car. The cop did nothing to de-escalate the situation, nothing to allow the couple to understand why he was bothered them and immediately got physical without considering the couple is continuously asking why are you bothering us.
The cop didn't buy anything! He was trespassing and loitering.

I don't think you understand how it works. Deescalation doesn't get you promotions. Citations and arrests do. Deescalation is fiction. Used on the masses and people with small minds. Cops have zero incentive to use deescalation. That's all propaganda.

I would not want to get arrested in front of my kids,especially over the window tints and they seem like they just want to take that couple to jail.

Seriously? A window tint violation in Florida? I live in Broward County near Coral Springs and I have tinted windows. The only time I have ever been harassed for window tint was by small town PD’s with nothing better to do. South Florida cops are the worst.
Edit: Every single Coral Springs cop car has dark tint. Another “Laws for thee, not for me” rule.

This happened 100% entirely because thats a brother and sister. I'm a 50 year Floridian and have ALWAYS had limo tint on EVERY vehicle I own and have NEVER been cited for it. I have been cited twice by the same cop for the front strip being below the ASI line. And I can guarantee the every tinted car in Florida has tint below that line, if the windshield has a strip. My brother has DOUBLE limo on the rear doors and rear window, yet he never has been cited. But, we're both not black people. I also can GUARANTEE that Florida is still 100% a confederate state at heart. The south vs. north mentality will always be here.
