- For the first time ever, Jack Silkstone and Kieran Adams take you behind the scenes of the creation of Thorpe Park's infamous Fright Nights Halloween event.
Filmed over a six month period from June to November 2021 we thoroughly documented all of the work we did in marketing and working on the 20 Years of Fear iteration of Fright Nights. From filming the iconic Tape teaser project, to filming individual trailers for attractions such as Creek Freak, Platfrom 15, The Swarm Invasion and The Crows to the work we did for the creation of the brand new horror maze: Trailers.
This was such a big passion project and an opportunity that we will forever be grateful for so I really hope you enjoy this insight into all of our hard work for Fright Nights 2021.

Fair play to Thorpe Park for allowing two passionate and clearly talented enthusiasts to do the promotion. You shouldn’t feel down about the construction updates, you helped promote the event and kept the hype going at the same time, really hope you get to do it this year as well!
i hope the marketing team get you back in for next year, because the production was incredible and the hype that the teasers and trailers brought were unreal, you’ve (as a group) brought a new, higher production vibe to fright nights, which i hope they pursue for years to come
I will never go to fright nights but every year I get into your videos because I can experience these mazes without feeling overwhelmed

As much as I don’t go in the mazes, fright nights is my favourite theme park event. The atmosphere is insane, I love just taking it all in.

Amazing dedication and work ethic to bring some of the best ever Fright Nights marketing to the table, I’d go as far as saying the videos / promotional efforts were better than the quality of the mazes themselves. This was a wonderful documentary to watch and fill up my Sunday night, considering that the Sidemen had only got their video out whilst your documentary was premiering so I need to watch that one tomorrow! I couldn’t miss your documentary and I am glad I made the correct decision, you and Kieran worked so so hard for the park last year and it was an incredible year, I really hope you can work with the park again this year!

Great work. Something interesting to know would be does it not ruin the mazes for you when going through on frightnights if you are in them all the time.
Great question! To be honest we do the mazes so much during Fright Nights that we end up knowing the layout pretty quickly anyway. In my opinion a maze is very much brought to life by the actors inside though, so in that sense no the maze wasn’t ruined.
In fact, working on Trailers and seeing it built from the ground up just made my love and appreciation for the maze even greater!

As i am 15yrs old and looking at options for after secondary eg poduction media in collage or an apprentership and i was wondering if you might be able to help me
I finish school this summer and it would be helpful knowing how to get into videography
I studied media as one of my courses in sixth form and then went on to study film production at uni. Nowadays I wouldn’t say going to university is essential in the film industry though. Industry experience and on set knowledge is the most valuable thing you can have in my opinion!
