    First motoring memory:
VW Bug, Dad driving, he was 6’1” Mom in the passenger seat, with my twin brother on her lap, 4 bigger brothers and sisters in the back seat, myself and my younger brother in the little place behind the back seat. That’s nine people BTW, before seat belt regulations! It was hilarious watching people count how many people would come out of that little car.

Really appreciate that you show the car being cleaned with the seats inside. Goes to show that a stellar job can still be done even if the seats weren't taken out. You can reach with long tools and still get the dirt out! I loved this restoration. I need my head lamps looked after too.

My first motoring memory was in 1983/4, I was about 10 yo, and my Grandad used to let me drive his shining red Fiat 850 Coupe in his driveway, and taught me how to operate the pedals and how to park. It was awesome! I was feeling adult, and most important this sparked my passion for motoring that endures even today. Gary thank you for your questions, they are a good way to bring up some good memories! Cheers! Greetings from Italy! 🇮🇹

I was 4 years old, in my mom's 1975 Volvo 245 wagon. We were going up a super steep hill in Harpursville NY in the dead of winter during a storm. Halfway up, she lost traction, and did 3 360s and landed facing down hill facing my uncle in his yellow Camaro. It was super fun for me, but my sister and mom were screaming. Needless to say, we spent the night at a friend's house in the valley.

He said when you do that, it strips the UV protection and they will soon dull/yellow pretty quick, so you may have to apply some UV protection liquid to help give it a resistance again. Just a possible tip! aw the best!

I remember when I lived in the cold state of Minnesota in the winters I would come down the alley alongside my garage do a handbrake 180 turn into my garage . Could only do this in the winter when there were snow on the road, would require too much speed and be far too dangerous to try it in the summer though! Not my first memory of motoring but it certainly made fun coming home some days.

My first car related memory was my grandfather loading a tree stump into the trunk back in 1960. The stump was dug out of a dry lake bed. My mom wanted it to make a planter to decorate the entry. My grandfather thought the idea was ridiculous and a heated disagreement ensued. Mom got her stump and it decorated her entryway for the next 25 years. My next car memory was laying in the rear window of my dads Simca as a 5 year old. My brother still has that car.

One of my first driving memories was when I was about 4 and my dad let me sit on his lap to help drive his Hillman Avenger up the drive into the garage. But I got annoyed as he was really steering the car, I just had my hands on the wheel, so yanked the wheel to the right n smashed the corner a bit 🤣. Have you ever tried using Anti Static foam cleanser spray for plastics? I got the idea from when I used to fix car stereos, we used it to clean the fronts of the radios, and also the metal chassis. I started using it on the dash and side pillars, and if I got a drink spill on seats you can sometimes get rid of it by scrubbing that into it. But having seen this G101, will try that, but wouldn’t mind a good steam cleaner too!

My very first motoring memory is learning to drive all by myself, no help from anyone. Back in my teens, it was scary but fun

First vehicle memory is about 4.5 yrs old. Sleeping in the package shelf (above the rear seat under the rear window) of the 1951 Hudson Hornet 4 Dr. Sedan. We had twin rear view mirrors on the doors. My little brother slept on the rear seat while my 80 yr. old grandma was seated next to him. Mom and Dad rode up front with the West Highland terror. Narragansett Bay.

I liked this video a little more than your usual videos. way more entertaining with dog content and your mate and the little break with your lunch :D I liked it. Makes you seem more human than washing machine ;-)

My driving memory would be when I was about and six and my dad took me out in his new silver MK3 XR3i I called it ( 3 ie ) pulled over and did a 0 - 70 test on straight quite road in the summer of 1991 all I can remember is the injection pressure pulsing and the throaty sound of the exhaust and saying can you feel it pushing you back into the seat over and over laughing simple times but means the world to me 😁

I'd say one of my first "motoring memories" was probably riding with my dad to the salvage yard for parts on many saturday mornings. Paul Harvey on the radio and the smell of my dad's pipe from the driver's seat. Good times.

My first driving memory is of me sitting in the back of my dads P6 rover. No rear seat belts in those days and as I was the youngest and smallest I used to sit on top of the pulled down armrest. I shudder to think what would of happened to me if we had an accident!!. Great job as always, nice tidy Volvo that.

To answer your question, what you were doing is, officially, vacuuming. Hoovering is something completely different... **calls Moose over, then sprinkles a handful of treats on the floor** What Moose is now demonstrating **points to Moose as he snuffles along, snarfing down the treats** is "Hoovering!" Just thought I'd clear that up for you! 😁🤣😆

First motoring memory is going to the seaside in my uncle's black 1972 MK3 Cortina L and the heat off the vinyl seats combined with the smell of the Feu Orange air freshener.

I'm not a professional but I've found the easiest way to vacuum the mats is to take them out, shake them off and use a regular household upright vacuum cleaner with beater bars. Makes quick work of the dirt.

Great job once more 👌🏼Have you ever thought about investing on a ozone machine for the interior? It's a great tool to dry the seats and carpets when you wash them and it's also great to get rid of those stubborn odours.
One of my first motoring memories was with my grandad in his 74 Toyota Corolla. I've must've been 5 years old.

Little tip with XC90 headlights. They are held in by 2 lock tabs and pull straight out.
Makes it easier to polish them.
