An Airbus has two modes, Managed & Selected. Managed means it’s following the fight plan and obeying any altitude restrictions. That’s why it said ‘ALT CST’, it stands for altitude constraint, meaning the plane has an altitude restriction and will only go past it when it’s allowed to.
When you got the plane descend you actually put it into selected mode, meaning you are telling the aircraft to override the fight plan and ignore any restrictions. This will show up on your display as open climb/descent instead of just climb/descent on its own.
I believe you are correct. Except this beta version im pretty sure is bugged.. i have flown hundreds of airbus flights in the sim with no issues.

New to XP12 and this aircraft is pretty sweet for a mod, yet wish it had at least a manual?
Can you please help me downloading this plane? I have no idea on how to duplicate the default a330 folder and the website didn't say specifically on how to download it.

I downloaded this aircraft from the link but i have a problem ! normally when your airplane is off your flight controls such as Ailerons, Elevator and rudder should drops down but mine is not drop down, it's kind of you to help me what i have to do because I didn't see this problem in your video.

This knight sound stupid but could you please tell me how to get this in X-Plane 12? My English isn’t the best and I tried to interpret the instructions, but I don’t think I did it correctly. None of the liveries work, and it looks like I’m flying an A330-300 with a NEO livery. If you have time, could you please explain how you got the A330 NEO to work?

next time turn on your apu before landing , turn on elec hyd system , then turn off your engine before landing , no need for update ahahahaha
the only thing i like about this plane version in the 3D modeling and sound of the engine , except that , the cockpit texture are descent , the FMC is missing , a missing of storm light in the Overhead panel and a lot of other issue , but the autoland and the capture of the glideslop is working as i did my tests , whole xp12 need like a year or maybe more to be as good as xp11 now

The plane is completely fine, if you followed the normal approach procedure you wouldn't have crashed.
The speed (AT) needs to be put on the landing speed when around 40 feet put the engine idle. If you would have done that you would have been fine.
Please know your aircraft before you do a review, this gives a bad impression to new simmers that are deciding which sim to get or what plane to fly.
Does your 1080Ti work fine with X-Plane 12? I get micro-stutters and X-Plane support says that my GPU might not be strong enough
Yea i got micro stutters with my 1080ti
But what cpu are u using? Cause that could also be the problem.
Look at your task manager and see what is working the hardest
What does your fps look like in XP12?
I find myself struggling to get above 20FPS
It’s quite demanding on your gpu. I went and got myself a really powerful gpu and that made my sim super smooth. Maybe check the load that xp12 takes on your gpu. Hopefully that helped.
It doesn’t seem to work when I download the plane it just crashes.
