1991-96 Escort Gt Fuel Pump and Sending Unit Replacement. Modified!

Decided to replace the fuel pump and sending unit on my 90's model Escort GT. This car is a work in progress as I will be modifying everything on and in this car.

I have a 96 escort and I do not know much about it. The fuel pump failed am wondering do I have to drop the tank to replace it?

No. To access the pump remove the bottom back seat and the cap with the 4 bolts under it. From there you will have access to the pump.
