Day 7 of asking for a diamond back watersnake
Dalmatian
Adore them. How about the other giant African rat that lives in the forests of Africa? Rats RULE. For decades I kept at least two in my preschool classrooms. How many incidents of bites have I had during my teaching? How about a big fat ZERO?!?! Yep not even one bite.

Gambian pouched rat: Clever, adorable, and great for detecting landmines
As sicknesses.
And portable! ^^

HAHAHAHA
These rats have saved countless lives.
its a rodent and when its save all live on earth it has to be eliminated.
Not countless roughly a million lives…
@@kasauerkrautimgulaschwhat are you even saying??? I’m totally lost…. Your statement makes no sense… read it then think about what you wrote 🤦♂️

Damn. Never knew Mickey's cousin was such a cool doctor
I love rats I just wish they lived longer 😕
I wish they did too! Gambian pouched rats do live a bit longer, averaging 5 to 7 years. It's just not fair. The common fox squirrel can live up to 18 years, so their short lifespan isn’t due to being rodents.
@@BeastGuardian no they just evolved naturaly to have more kids and a shorter life span. How and why this is, is probaby to complicated to explain and it isn´t like there is a ultimative answere to this. But in short they just evolved like that because of their enviroment and natural mutations.
@@ATypiclaNPC They burn out quick, siring hundreds of offspring, yeah. If they didn't have short lives they would exhaust the food chain of their habitats.
The biggest shame is that domestic rats often have their lives shorten as a result of health issues humans bred them to have back when they first were scientifically used for experimentation. I’ve had a lot of pet rats and plenty never made it to 3yrs old. I actually ended up with a wild brown rat as a pet (which is the same breed most domesticated/fancy rats are) after our pet cat brought home a baby rat from a nest our neighbours construction project exposed, little guy wasn’t going to survive if released (according to our neighbour the rest of the nest babies were eaten by a kookaburra), he was so young he likely had never left the nest before; which also meant he was super easy to domesticate and bonded to me extremely quickly. (Since it might freak people out, I should mention that my sister in law is a vet and 100% made sure he was disease free + I kept him independent of my other pet rats). This little rattie ended up living five and a half years! Way longer than the 20+ pet rats I’ve had throughout my life. I wish all rats could live that long 😢
Wish this thread was longer, as well, lovely comments :p

🧡🧡🧡
How marvelous….and cute. I had never heard of this kind of little fellow. It’s always pleasant to learn something new that is so positive and charming.
Unfortunately, it’s illegal to own any African rodents in United States. However, I love them! Have for quite a while. They’re also pretty cute 🥰
Illegal to have one of these cuties? NOOOOOO!!!
I love these guys and wish I could have a couple. ❤
That "stick on a rope" was how they were training them to detect land mines; which is completely safe for them to do since they are too light to trigger the mine. They are actually well taken care of and loved because of the service they are doing.
It’s so cute
I really want one of these ❤
Cute landmine detective ❤❤
Oh they're so cute
I really wonder how they were taught to detect something like landmines. I hope none of them had to die in training that ability.
They're actually light enough where they don't set them off!
@@sushi513 Oh that’s cool, thanks for the heads up 👍
@@Ziekoss Thats why they use them over dogs - dogs would be too heavy
Cutest little hero ever!
Hamsters, dogs and machines has been replaced by the cutest thing ever.
So cute with his little backpack 😄
Omg, I loved rats already but this guy blew my mind and stole my heart!
Thank you for your service, rats
This is a unique rodent
Awwwww....... There is truly a place for all in this world. Love and Light from Cape Town South Africa 💖🌍💖🌍💖😊😊😊
Blessings On The Gambian Pouched 🐀 Rat! They're Such Cute Little Critters! And Intelligent Too.🌺🌺🌺🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦🇮🇱♾️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🗽🦅‼️
Rat working cool.
This is the best ad for rats I've ever seen, I don't care what they cost I'll buy 6 of them right now!
I normally dislike rats but these guys are pretty cute. And they provide a wonderful service! God bless them! 😊😊😊
Aww, precious. 🐀
I feel like they're not treated 100% what they're worth. They should have fluffy beds at the end of every night and lots of food and not a stick with a rope😢
That "stick on a rope" was how they were training them to detect land mines; which is completely safe for them to do since they are too light to trigger the mine. They are actually well taken care of and loved because of the service they are doing.
😍😍😍
Adorable 💝
Teemo: "Size doesnt mean anything"
I like that rat ☺️🐀
Tiny little heroes! Rats are incredible little floof potatoes.
Amazing creature ❤
Love them!
What an amazing little animal! As a kid, I had a domesticated rat as a pet. He was intelligent, affectionate, gentle and clean. The only drawback was his relatively short lifespan. I miss him :-)
God Bless The Little Heroes For Humanity 🙏💗

So cute. I love rats. These guys are amazing. ❤
Okay, now I want one! 🐭
Lovely rat. Mostly humans lack of sympathy to rodents and to other many animals, but they are so clever and evil free. We have so much to learn from them.
And, as the name implies, they have a pouch to carry their baby in. Very adorable.
Yeah if you have not had a rat as a pet you simply just don't know how awesome they are.
Now I wanna hold one.
Their little backpacks!
The very best to you Buddies. Stay safe. I love you c I’ve had several pet rats. They are so smart and special. Each death was so hard on me. They are so short lived
I wanna hug it❤️
"They send out worker rats called-"
"MARSUPIALS!"
**sigh** "Marsupials."
Don't give a fuck about the landmines. Now the cheek pouches? That's intriguing. Please more about the cheek pouches.
That's where they keep the landmines.
BOOOOM!
“Sir. The rat detected a land mine. I’ll need another one.”
What a clever idea! So light they don't set off the bombs, so special noses they can find land mines
Cross between a rat and hamster. So cute
Gambian Pouch Rat go boom!!!!
I DONT LIKE RATS BUT GIRLLLL THESE ARE TOOO CUTEEE❤
They are almost going extint over here
they are so cute
Awwww who’s an adorable little explosives expert? You are! Yes you are!
OH. MY. GOD 😮 I love them and I need one! 😂 I had pet rats whom I adore ❤ but this dude's like having a rat and a small puppy 😊 he's bootyful
Rats love to plqy and are really curious so this actually makes a lot sense
It’s strange, they’re kinda cute in a way!
These guys are the best
Adorable
Thank you Gambian Pouched Rat. I love you Gambian Pouched Rat
Precious being ❤
"Today we are using PinPin and doing the landmine challenge"
I hope these animals get a great retirement plan. Like some police dogs get adopted by their handler's. They seem like they'd be great pets since they are trained.
Aawweessoommee!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰🥰💓💓💕💞💛💛💗💗😍😍💖💖❤️
Rat be like: ok I'll work for snacks! *Eats banana* - *Digs up a mine* Kaboom! 💣🪦
This is the same rat type that appears in the remake of Willard, the film used one and it portrayed the rat, Ben or Big Ben as he's named in the film.
Rats are friends I snuggle now goodnight
To be honest I hate rats, but theses little guys 😂 are just too cute.
Omg I love them
Dogs:They don’t need me anymore……
Little heroes ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Looks like a Fusion between rat and hamster
They have potential to be used on war like they can spot landmines like they need to be used for like millatary school or war
When a rat and chipmunk crossbreed
So pity they live so short 😢
Rats are awesome wee characters! Screw the haters I love them 😊
"Rats are the lowliest and most despised of all creatures, my love. If they have purpose, so do we all."
Thats a HUGE rat!!!
I like his Ears
If I had tuberculosis and ratatouille was the first one to find out about I would be the happiest person with tuberculosis
omg those ears
Cute and smart
Adorable ❤❤❤
Omg... LORGE RATTIES!
THEY ARE SO CUTE
Subhanallah!
Rats are very intelligent & clean. We think they are dirty but that is only because they live in sewers out of necessity to survive from predators & humans. In captivity they are extremely clean.
Humans aren't real happy with any animals that can tolerate living around us that aren't officially designated companion critters.
Amazing
Here’s hoping no pouch rat gets hurt finding those mines
they're only 1-1,5 kg, so they are too light to detonate them
Hamster rat puppy hybrid?
Take my money 💳💥
... actual pocket puppy
Some of them have tactical gear 😂
Best rat.
The life saver rat
The only kind of rat I can like😊
I would love to have them as a pet... They look like they would be very loving and affectionate😊
This rat is unstoppable
I LOVE rats and would love to have a pair of these beauties!
Who let master splinter out?
And unlikely hero 🤗❤️
