Here in Ohio there are very few places to go and enjoy nature. It is mostly agricultural country side and I very much enjoy the relaxing pace of your videos. Waiting on warmer weather to go camping with my best friend Bruno, the German Shepherd! Great video!

For those who watch this good review ...
I purchased the little one and gave it a convex . If you love carving you will want to strop this knife into a microvex. When I received mine like most blades the Vgrind was just to abrupt. It's a simple fix and with the change I believe this might be my most favorite blade I've owned.
I cannot express how well this knife works with a convex. Buy one ya won't regret it, learn to reprofile your knives. Also you can use a worksharp to do a basic convex edge.
Still I would recommend using sandpaper and loaded strop convexing with bubble wrap technique.

Hi Tom...I just found your videos and channel today and am SO enjoying watching. I especially love watching you pack and smoke your pipe! My father, who would have been 101 today, smoked a pipe till the end of his life and I so miss the smell of the wonderful tobaccos he used. Your shelter is incredible...simple and beautiful. I love how well organized it is and that you consciously seek the balance between working on it and enjoying it. What I find most relaxing about watching your videos is that you don't narrate constantly. This alone allows me to feel as if I'm sitting in the peace of the woods right along side you! I also find the visual composition of your shots really beautiful. I worked in television and you have a real gift for what is pleasing to the eye. I will look forward to watching many more. I bought the mini one the Sanabria 2 on Amazon surprised by the price I think I only paid around 52 dollars with free shipping I’ve seen prices as high as 67. Very well made I would have paid more. The finish on the knife is perfect the blade came razor sharp.

It wouldn't even be too hard to button that up for cold weather. Hang some tapestries on the walls for extra wind protection, and some wool blankets in the opening with that one wood stove you've got, and you can stay pretty cozy even in the coldest weather.

Great new designs and additions to Cudeman's roster. I find these two, the Ness Wolf and the Quercus quite a departure from other Cudeman models. These two and especially the big one, have something reminiscent of White River's FC4 and Fletcher's Delta line. Thanks for the review.

Great looking knives. I would be proud to carry them. It will be interesting to see if the American market picks up on these. The price seems really good and the sheath's are beautiful and well made. 440C (MOVA) steel is a very good knife steel. Until recently it was used primarily in custom made knives. As you said, very sharp, holds an edge, and easy to sharpen. Thanks for showcasing these knives. By the way, I love your camp.

I hope that tree you sawed down was a dead tree because we need all the live trees we can get to fight the pollution created by so many cutting down the timber in Brazil's Amazon Forest and here in North America as well. Those two knives you received look great and I love both of them and the sheaths are great looking also and well designed by the knife maker. The larger one is nice enough for cutting up food and can do some bushcraft work also and the smaller one can be used just for processing food as it is too small for bushcraft work.
The tobacco you are talking about must be Captain Black and I smoke their Gold version of it and have been smoking it for many years now. Your camp is looking nice with the improvements you made and I hope you have a nice week.

Nice video Tom👍👍 Cimbrer camp is looking good with all the new improvements, the overhangs and wood storage shelf was a good idea👌 The Norse dragon heads lend a flair of Viking heritage. The tree you felled should yield plenty of fire wood for your stove, I can see lots of work ahead😊 Your new knives are very nice looking, will be waiting for a working review in the future. The tobacco container looks cool and old school. Inside decor with Norse/Viking symbols or pictures will be fantastic, and more reindeer skins will make it so comfy and inviting. Yes !! Ive been waiting for a new upload, I cant wait for another years worth of Bushcraft. I have the Cudeman MT-2 ive had it for around 2 years and it always gets the job done, I do not know why more people know about their blades as they are so good . godt nytår :)

440-c is a steel for kitchen knives. Easy sharpening, but easy get dull - soft steal. For bush craft knives D2 steel is more suitable. It is not stainless but it needs to sharpen one a year.

i was told that this steel doesn't have great edge retention, but its easy to sharpen in the field and that the steel is quite resistant to chipping.

I love the design but 54-56 Rockwell is very soft...have you noticed if that causes edge rolling? I love the little guy .
