yeah we always do the entire bottom, and we use plywood not osb. oil prime it and then paint it with 2 coats gloss. but he may have had a same-day turn deadline so whatever gets it done so the person moves in. can always go back and fix/adjust later
As a fellow maintenance worker, I appreciate the good work. Also just got done re doing 40 apartments, paint, light fixtures, appliances, plumbing. Now corporate wants us to redo it all there way so all the facilities match! Then why did you approve the costs of the original remodels?! Anyways job security I suppose! Keep up the great videos!
Us too! Don't forget to clean the dryer ducts.😆😊 WE use only nylon covers. They break less. Under the sinks end up with peel and stick floor tiles. Great chemical and water resistance...fast fix.
I love the comments that say you’re a hack because of the cover up work or not doing it the way they would. Apparently they never worked in a maintenance position.
I’ve been doing maintenance for 11 years now and I love it! I have been with companies that want the job done right and companies that don’t want you to spend so much of the budget on turns due to ownership trying to make a profit that month or other factors. I personally would just advise my company and owner that if they want more money they have to take the time to put back into unit turns. If not, then you can only do what they say you can do. That being said the bottom cabinet could have been done completely you were already there. But again just my opinion. I love watching your videos and try to learn something new.
No attempt to remediate the obvious mold under that sink and didn't bother cutting out the old caulking, resulting in the new layer doing nothing at all and you can see it still peeling at the edges. Classic hack maintenance person taking zero pride in their work.
That cabinet just doesn’t sit right with me. Personally I would’ve covered the entire thing with plywood, not just a section
I hear ya. Gotta pick your own battles at these older properties
Depends on whoever hired you and how much money they wanna put into it.

I'm a Maintenance Supervisor. That entire bottom should have been measured, cut and installed.
Then go do it.@@alexsantiago176

It depends on the property, turn around and who you're working for regarding acceptable repairs.
Back at it 👍🏽

You works with details, is hard work, but is enjoyable for the viewer👍🏻

There was no mold under the sink. But I appreciate you watching 👍
