    This looks like the best tactical flashlight. Separate button for strobe is a huge deal.

    • @XperiencePureness
      @XperiencePureness Před 2 lety +5

      Some so-called self-defense experts argue that short bursts of turbo mode are much more effective than strobe modes because strobe light also has a negative effect on both sides and if you have photosensitive epilepsy then strobe light can be a nightmare for you.
      For me a good tactical flashlight should have direct access to turbo mode and moon or lowest light mode.

    • @YuhNinja
      @YuhNinja Před 2 lety +6

      @@XperiencePureness I have no idea why everyone is so obsessed with moon modes. If I need low lumen light, I'll use my phone.

    • @XperiencePureness
      @XperiencePureness Před 2 lety +3

      @@YuhNinja The moonlight mode will not interfere with the natural ability of our eyes to see in low light conditions which are usually used by hunters or soldiers to navigate in dark places, read maps and minimize the possibility of being detected.
      Red light or other colors are also used in these conditions but the drawback is that we will have difficulty seeing certain colors so moonlight mode is the best solution to help our vision in low light if we want to avoid being detected or disturbing people around us.
      Using a phone for moonlight and at the same time using a flashlight to produce a high intensity light is not only troublesome but can also get you hurt or even killed in some situations.
      So a flashlight that has quick access to low lumen and turbo modes is the best tool for "tactical" situations or even for everyday activities.

    • @YuhNinja
      @YuhNinja Před 2 lety

      @@XperiencePureness Okay so basically, moonlight mode is for seal team 6, and normal people, outside of maybe hunters when they are hunting, don't need it.

    • @XperiencePureness
      @XperiencePureness Před 2 lety

      @@YuhNinja You can use the moonlight mode as a night light when you are camping, reading light, you can also use it as a "candle" when there is a power outage, in public places such as cinemas, theaters or just to save battery.
      For average joe moonlight mode might be more useful than strobe mode.

    Ive just lost my Fenix LD12 125 lm, that Used for every single day for the last 6 years!! I tried al the other suggestions, to replace it, but none comes close!! It's led and it's runtimes, where so much, MUCH better than what they now make. It has also seen a ton of falls, even from a balcony to the street, where I thought it wouldn't work again, and it didn;t even had a single scratch! It looked and worked like day one, until the day I lost it!!! If you find one, GET IT. Stay out of the newer models!! No matter what you see on paper, they all suck!! They don't last a second if not a first fall to the floor neither! They break easily now... I'm really sad I lost that light!!

      This is a question I've asked myself too. Reading the comments of the users on the video reviews, there are many who ask if TK22 TAC or TK20R 2.0 is better.
      There probably isn't a certain answer, they are two similar flashlights and with the same LED, the only relevant difference is the diameter of the head and the different tail cap/usage interface (both valid)
      A larger head generally gives better performance and perhaps helps manage heat better for a few more seconds. (but a bigger head might bother someone about its size if you put it in a pocket)
      Consider that one of the two Fenix has external charging with cable while the other you have to open it, take out the battery and connect it to a cable to recharge.
      I've been thinking about buying one of the two for a few days and I can't decide myself.
      (I already have TK11 TAC, PD36R, PD 36TAC) maybe I will go for the TK20R V2.0 because I always carry the flashlights on my belt (in the holster) and the 40mm head is too big.
      I do not like that these 3000 lumens flashlights have a turbo that lasts about a minute but the heat is so much and it is not possible to maintain maximum power for long.
      In winter with PD36R and TK11 TAC I can maintain the maximum power (1600 lumens) for a very long time without noticeable drops in brightness (especially with the TK11 TAC which has a larger head)
      Both the TK22 TAC and the TK20R V2.0 are 1000 lumens flashlights that can deliver 2800/3000 lumens for a short time, but if you need a small flashlight that you will have to use for a long time with high power (constantly) maybe it's better that you look at models that have a lower light output.
      A suggestion could be to walk around using a constantly lit headlamp (500/800 lumens) and use a torch like Fenix TK22 TAC or TK20R V2.0 to flash light when you need it, using them for a few seconds at a time you can always use them at turbo without having the stepdown for heat (I often do this when using the PD36 TAC at the 3000 lumens level)
      I hope I have given you some food for thought.

      @@x_gangsa vapcell is good. But vapcell or Fenix they do not manufacture batteries. They buy batteries from Panasonic, LG, Samsung... cover them and raise the price. You should buy Samsung's 21700 battery is good quality.
