I’ve been looking for this recipe for a while! You have such a beautiful calming voice. Thank you for the lesson. Manshanu was my jam when I lived in Jos.
You're so very welcome and thank you! Since you lived in Jos, you must have tried gwote, the Berom people's main delicacy. Man shanu was always a fantastic accompaniment to it!
Thank you so much for sharing this. I’ve been searching for how to make man shanu for the longest time.
Thank you for this.
I attended secondary school in Kebbi and Kaduna, I remember learning about Man Shanu from fellow students who'd usually add it to their meal from the dining hall in boarding school alongside suya spice made of ginger and chili.... I can never forget the beautiful aroma that results.
I have been searching for a very long time for the steps to making that special man shanu. Finally, my "quest" is complete.
I will surely give this a try.
@Red FX, I'm so glad this took you down memory lane. I hope you too enjoy the end result, but please take care with respect to the last step, lol 😅

Lol!
I surely will take extra caution for that last part.
Thank you
😂😂 The water part 😂😂. I’m about to do this right now
Is adding water necessary?
@@fairwaysalways thanks, they forgot how the oil can go rapidly rancid with this kind of corruption.
