Thank you for interviewing Dr. Taylor. His reference to the horizontal and vertical is a vision to be remembered. Dr. Taylor stated also that Black preacher need to write out their sermons to be published in order for the gospel "His Story" to be available in print. There are many of sermons heard 52 or more days yearly.

Thank you dear brother Min. Wright for this interview. Give your writing that immortality that which belongs to print. What a statement. He was in time talking about Jesus what God is in eternity the portrait and perfect picture of the Father.
Jesus is left out in most preaching bc His life was not successful according to our standards. This man dropped so many wise gems in this interview. Thank you Dr. Taylor for reminding us to preach not a candy gospel, but a meaty gospel!

Shouldn't the title of your channel be America's Preachers or American Preachers? I don't understand America Preachers.

I have had the opportunity to meet Dr. Taylor and he is great in terms of being a picturesque preacher of the Gospel. He is not necessarily exegetical bringing out the cultural, historical and making use of the ancient language of the Biblical text, he basically is/was "thematic" in his approach to the text which is certainly good. However, I believe the ancient language, culture, and history uncovers the true message of the text. Consequently, one can walk away with God's intended meaning of His Word.

John W. S. Howard, Ph.D. people are dying and going to hell because preachers are too focused on delivery (man made style not directionof the Holy spirit) more than being focused on the great commission given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. none of what man contributes to the gospel of Jesus Christ is essential to salvation for the Word of God stands on its own merit. in the latter days, I believe God is going to pour out his spirit upon common men with no theological training but those who hunger, thirst, and are willing to die for the cause of the Word of God.

John W. S. Howard, Ph.D. , I was a former congregant and member of Concord. There are no peers for Dr. Taylor, exegetical means to bring to life and application the written word. Every time I have heard him proclaim, he has made clear the Gospel truths, in fact we see the Whole Counsel everytime he proclaimed the Word. At the conclusion of his preaching if you cannot hear or see the epiphany of our Lord, one is incapable of feeling. Preston Allen Houston Tx.

@@rumpelstiltskin9878 Yes sir. People are dying and going to hell because they have never heard the Word of the Lord with the use of the original language of God's Word. As this happens you learn what God meant by what HE said. The English language often overlook or does not include the cultural background and issues of the Biblical text.

@@DrJohnWSHoward That's the MOST uninformed response I have ever heard from an academically educated preacher. No one is going to hell because they cannot read or understand the original languages, or the historical context which produced such texts. For GOD SO LOVED the world that HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM, should not perish, BUT have EVERLASTING LIFE. John 3:16. Salvation is based on GOD'S LOVE AND provision, AND not on a human's ability to decipher ancient texts, or biblical languages. Slaves who could not read or write, and who had limited knowledge of biblical narratives, were included in the salvific paradigm on the basis of faith in JESUS CHRIST. The thief on the cross may not have been an educated man, and yet GRACE supercedes any AND ALL circumstance or incumberance. Judge not that you be not judged. Clearly, you think TOO highly of your opinion. Let this mind be in you that was in CHRIST JESUS. He HUMBLED HIMSELF.
