as a calm prayer person....i feel this. i even tried the very loud prayers and i realised i was actually being superficial and i just stopped. i realised that intensity in prayer is just from sincerity and not how much prayerful you seem as you actually pray.

Hahaha I have a situation like this but a positive experience, I am the cold one, I pray silently, I literally can say I do discussions with God but my husband no way, he can go for 5h sometimes 7h in tongues this is 5+years of marriage and it looks so simple for him am happy because truly he is a Christian, feverntly seeking to reveal God to his generation, he is a pastor. The truth is when I am in some danger or confusion I usually pray and say God of my husband( I rush to his prayer alter to pray sometimes) because I can attest and the Spirit in me bears witness that this man serves God. May God continue to help us my dear husband in Jesus name. Love you

Thanks for touching on this. Many have been "ascending into realms" without the leading and covering of the Holy Spirit, thereby exposing themselves to spiritual wickedness in high places. Not everyone who "ascends" is of the Spirit of God.
What is even ascending in the first place? Our spiritual level is determined by our knowledge of Christ, the more I know JESUS, the more I am like Him, therefore, where He is, is where I am.

There are different types of prayers for different types of situations. Sometimes you need to warfare prayers for strong and intense spiritual problem, and asending is necessary. Sometimes you need calm prayer when u need to connect with God. Sometimes u need to do prayer of thanksgiving. But every style is important depending on what the need is. I think it is important to remember that. People should not condemn or judge prayer styles. Each one is important and Holy Spirit led.
