i like how persona in the ps1 era used to have lots of samples of voices and other stuff on the background, st hermelin on p1 even had bells it was such a cool detail, on the 3d map there were dogs barking and cars passing too, it's one of the things that makes the psp version feels kinda hollow and unfinished compared to it's predecessor really helped the game to fell alive
i also feel like the sound effects of the psx ones contribute to that. The swoosh when you go to a different area in p2, the magical sound effects and heavy menu sound effects in p1. It makes those games feel so unique
