時に失敗も！？草木染め【Natural Dyeing②】Elderberry / エルダーベリーで染めてみた / Botanical Dyes / Eco Dyeing / 染色

Welcome back to my channel!
Today I am going to dye a cotton cloth and a silk yarn with elderberries from my garden.
I picked the berries in autumn and froze them.
Somehow the thing has happened, which I didn't expect at all....

草木染め２本目の動画は庭のエルダーベリーです。
秋に収穫して冷凍しておいたものを使いました。
シルク糸はきれいに染まったのですが、、、あれれ？
なぜ失敗したのか、もしわかる方がいらしたらぜひ教えてください！
染めた糸で何を織ろうかな～。

It could be that you needed a different mordant as cotton is cellulose and different than silk. I'm a spinner and weaver as well, but I've yet to do any dying, but I'm in a ton of yarn groups in Facebook and Ravelry. You should definitely check them out, I'm sure you find alot of people to help you! 🤗💖🕊️🌹
