Gifu Cincinnati Sister Cities Peace Bell Commemoration 2013

Every year on July 9, the Gifu-Cincinnati Sister City Committee commemorates those who died during the Allied bombing of Gifu City, Japan on July 9, 1945. We recognize that peace is a difficult process, but the first step is to work together and build strong relationships. This annual Peace Bell Ceremony is a sign of hope in the future and of our support of the efforts of all those working towards world peace.
