The Audix D-Vice (sometimes spelled "DVice") is a specialty microphone mounting system for drums that attaches to the rim of your toms. It works with non-specialty drum mics (like a Shure SM57). It can also be used with specialty drum mic that don't have a built in drum mount (such as the Audix D4).
I'll show discuss the benefits of this, plus some minor grips I have with this product. I'll also show how to quickly set this up.
You can purchase the Audix D-Vice: amzn.to/44dCxkG
*If you purchase through the above link, I'll make a tiny commission. That'll make me super happy, as I could buy more drums!*

Awesome video yo! By the way, I do have a question. Any electric drum kit recommendations for people who just started playing the drum? I just started a month ago and your videos helped me a lot. My electric drum does sound a bit funky and I do need a new one.

Unfortunately I don't know too much on the electronic drum front. I will say generally mess heads feel better/closer to real drums. Alesis has some cheaper mess head kits, but I'm not very familiar with them. Good luck on the drum hunt!

I believe that was just the clip that came with that Shure mic. I think the don't normally have the metal piece there, so I don't know why this one did. But I wasn't complaining. :)
