I have a Cannon G7020 and it worked. I got to the setting a little differently, via the LCD, but I did this exact same reset and it corrected the issues. Thank you

Thank you very much for your time and sharing this information. I have the Canon g3202 and I try running it twice a week at least. Never had issues since I purchased it until last week when I forgot to run it then I noticed the colors was off. Your video was the first I found and the issue was corrected. By the way I'm using G2000 and my problem turned out to be blocked ink, which was due to my printer placed inside living room that has strong air conditioner. So yeah I wouldn't suggest placing your printer inside somewhere cold.

Interesting. It is almost midwinter here in Aotearoa New Zealand, and the printer live in a cold room. Jamie's advice fixed my problem, but maybe the cold caused it?

Thank you so much! The manual that came with my G3202 was saying to hold down the stop button less times for the deep clean and not 5. My printer is finally doing a cleaning and not throwing it into an error.

Hey ! This works for pulling ink through for airlocked pipes.! Others use/purchase syringes to pull it though! This maintenance mode (10 mins +) is much more advanced than the normal! So brilliant dude! Sorts the poor print AND airlocks! You can see it bubbling through the chambers! Note: Mine is a G3501, and to get it into 'Service mode' is slightly different!
You're right, BUT.....remember this is the printer with "planned obselesence". Once the ink absorber pad is "Full", the printer will stop working, forever. It's in the software. Everytime you run this priming cycle it will work, but then.....the printer thinks, "Ok, there is another 2 drops of ink in my absorber pad. Once I hit 100 drops, I'll quit forever!" And you can remove the pad and see it's clean, but the printer still is counting how many times you do this cycle. There is no way around it I guess. Or is there?

Does use a lot of ink but works 100% I was urgent for the color to be correct and this was amazing! So surprised this worked!

Yo! This works great! I followed the guide online that told me to do the light then the heavy nozzle clean (which is 2 and 3 blinks respectively) but they didn't work. I did this and it was fixed! Thanks a lot man!!

Thank you! This fixed the issue on my ink tank Maxify GX5050 printer. Just held the cancel button for a few seconds and it started to pump ink into the print head. All the tubes were dried up before and this process put ink from the tanks to the tubes into the print head.

The color ink flush fixes the magenta problem, but it comes back after a few days (7 days at most). Is this caused by a failing printhead? Or something else? I need to know to take the decision of purchasing a new printhead or a whole new printer.

This worked great, BUT, make sure you do the test pattern first. I had printed one from the printer maintenance screen so I skipped it and went right to the cleaning process. The printer went into an error mode that took some doing to get out of. I then did the whole process and it worked great. Thank you!
