Dear Hiwa K, I am sorry that is how you feel about the reportage. But just for the record and in preserving the truth, I would like to remind you that you actually saw, review the draft and approved it. You had no issue what so ever with the publication of the Kurdish version, and you only asked us, the filmmakers, to take down the English-subtitled version (which I don't understand why!).
Such a bad reportage. It is just one of those badly made documentaries that romanticizes the artist. It i missing the political statement on which my artistic practice is based. In spite of spending 2 days with the filmmaker, explaining him/them my practice, they cut out the most important parts. You can have a good eye behind the camera and you need a brain behind the eye too.
