Mombasa is a beautiful city and has a deep culture and history under British & Portuguese rule, being the Capital city before Nairobi. I am proud that they kept part of that history in Old Town where plaques are placed on former buildings giving the history of the place, the large elephant tusks over the Highway represent the Ivory Trade which sadly expanded to far away places like China & India, Thank you Lenox for another great vlog. @lenoxjunior I walked down practically all the streets you explored, I went to Ft. Jesus and English Point many times. Mombasa is rich in culture and history. It's very Swahili, I really loved it. Thanks for the video. It brought back some great memories. If you get the chance take a trip to Bombulu, I lived there, I realised the only way to really get a good feel for Mombasa was to stay close to the people instead of living like a tourist in a resort, I lived in Lagos for almost 15 years so living like a local in Mombasa wasn't strange to me.
